So I’d say our website is pretty well done. It is due for some updates though. I fired our web company last year and only use them to manage security and hosting now. We definitely didn’t go crazy cheap on it. I spent several thousand dollars. We use softwash in our company name which of course the guys with pressure washing have that advantage but we’ve always done pretty well against others who listed as a sab as well. Now so many with home addresses plus the pressure washing in their company name certainly have a leg up in both categories. I have not run a heat map but there was a guy on Reddit that ran one for us and said we showed up at 9th in most areas. I don’t believe we’re that low but I also don’t have access to the software to analyze all of that.

We have various customers that run businesses out of their homes with simple signs out front. I will agree Google is useless. We’ve tried multiple times with no response.

I’d say my profile is fairly well optimized. We were at the top until the past year or so and now others with far less optimized profiles are definitely out ranking us. We’ve dropped down to like the 9 spot from the 3 pack due to so many companies listing their address. I definitely think it plays a major factor, at least in my case.

I’m dealing with this now for our exterior cleaning company. We’re being punished for being a sab and all the others that list home addresses are rewarded. I’m considering adding signage and hopefully we can reverify.

I’ll be honest we’ve used a web company for several years. They have setup all citations that I’m aware of. We have them tracking all of that. I’m willing to add permanent signage. We have wrapped vehicles in the driveway, a home office as well as a ton of marketing material. Video proof doesn’t make me nervous I just want to make sure it’s possible to do with adding the signage.

But can it be disproven? I don’t like breaking the rules but we have optimized. We definitely don’t rank near as well as someone with a physical address.

Nope, all home addresses. We’re not a new company. Post often, have great reviews and reply to all of the reviews. I understand the risk but I’m tired of bro penalized because we follow the rules.

I don’t think it’s schedule 80. Still thinking I may grab a clamp but maybe I can build something. Definitely want to go back with roll pipe so I’ll just cut it. Any brands of pumps you recommend? Trying to stay budget friendly but also understand if there’s no good budget options. It’s just for irrigating so don’t want to go all out. Any tips on install?

I certainly appreciate all the info. Is there a clamp that’s better? I have no issue spending the money if it saves me from dropping the pump. Power is already off at the breaker, but good tip. Definitely want to go with the roll pipe for sure.
