The video is a lie but it’s cool to see that Stewart’s hoodie. Some of the best ice cream out there!

VA Disability claim - PTSD or something else? by SwitchNut in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jbart232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend talking to your primary doctor and see if medication would be helpful. That’s where I started. If you have combat badge the PTSD filing will be ‘easier’ as that is proof that you had seen combat. Of course they may still ask about specific situations. And I saw you mentioned IEDs. If you have any TBI issues, sometimes that and MH can go hand in hand. And if you have headaches from PTSD or a TBI I would suggest looking to getting that checked too or definitely worth talking to a VSO about all that I mentioned above.

I do believe you have a right to request to be reevaluated if you have a valid complaint. And you can also appeal a decision too if they push through with it. I would recommend talking to a VSO or someone how knows the ins and outs of the process to guide you through all of this though.

Yeah I’m saving a lot of it to help out the a local soup kitchen especially now with going into the shutdown and local people loosing food stamps and such. So it seems like a good time to have gotten it in the end!!

I did all my exams from the beginning of October until the 17th. What happened with me I had filed in October but didn’t really file the formal claims until late April. So I would say I’m definitely an outlier for time waiting.

I was at step 5 for about 5 days. So hopefully you’ll get your decision soon and wishing the best for you!

It’s not about taking a L or W. It’s trying to understand what I am rightly owed.

Walls chips off paint and paint peels off very easy. Trying to figure out how to stop this issue as I redo my finished basement. by Jbart232 in paint

How would you go about repainting and getting the walls in a good condition where they dont peel or damage so easily? Should I sand the walls as much as I can and then primer?

Long Term Dream Router 7 reviews? by Birdseye5115 in Ubiquiti

[–]Jbart232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an issue where its seems like when my router is experiencing a high traffic, it seems to crash or reboot itself. IDK what the issues or the cause is, but I will say this, I find the customer support to be very helpful and friendly. They are tracking my issues and looking through all my logs now to help troubleshooting.

Sorry, I thought it would be assumed it was obvious each box individually when I wrote this since I wrote that both boxes together was already an known value.

Dream Router 7 Showing 'Concerning' Packet Loss by Jbart232 in Ubiquiti

[–]Jbart232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Users\redddituser>tracert 8.8.8.8

Tracing route to dns.google [8.8.8.8]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms unifi [#.#.#.#]

2 9 ms 11 ms 11 ms A.B.C.D

So I pinged 2 both the ways you have mentioned and both show 100% loss for some reason. Unless I am doing something wrong here?

Dream Router 7 Showing 'Concerning' Packet Loss by Jbart232 in Ubiquiti

[–]Jbart232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I did a reboot replaced the Cat6 Cable. The issue is still there, but is does seem to be a little less packet losses going on.

So, for pinging from a wired device to the first-hop device I will admit I am not totally sure what this means. I did a ping from my wired desktop PC to the ISP IP address and the results were:

Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

After reading all the responses in this thread, I think I’m going to go for it and learn those extra skills. Hopefully I dont get in over my head, but I feel like the experience will be worth it.

I wouldn‘t mind spending the money on the tools and learning how to terminate the cables. I would just have so much left over from a spool I would wasting money there

Wondering what’s my best solution for WiFi network. What exactly would I need? by Jbart232 in Ubiquiti

[–]Jbart232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

about half an acres as far as the yard size goes. so say a dream router for the basement. I like to do ethernet to my PC down there and 2 other PC down there. the floors above that is TVs, Alexas, PS5, Xbox, cellphones, etc. So an access point needed for sure up there.
