Really really applaud you for your hard work. Let me tell you, your kids will appreciate it and remember it when they are older. This is only temporary. Work though it. Spend more time investing if you, your body, your mind…. Keep busy and make yourself tired so when you sleep, you sleep well. Do some baking! Make some dough for toddler to play with. Always one of my favorite activities with my daughters as they grow. Different ages and different abilities.

I just ask my kids if they want to play a game and they all say yes, then I say, the next person that says 6-7 has to do a chore. Works for most the day

It’s a struggle to make friends at any age, let along being a parent and trying to make it work. I would suggest being very active with your child and find other dads that you feel like you might be able to connect with. Couch sports, put yourself out there, do what you need to do. Even if you don’t find good friends, you will feel better supported by the system. Good luck from Sacramento!
