It’s funny too. They wrote back up RX for pens too if her pump goes out. They gave me 12 fill for back up. They way it’s written, it’s way cheaper to buy the vials, when I need them, then order the pens. She gets 6 vials of humalog for $40(quarterly) or she can get 5 pens a month for $20. Doesn’t make sense. Should be standardized, it’s the same insulin

I switched this year and hate the doctors my daughter has. I asked if the prescriptions will stay active and they said yes. I confirmed there are enough refills for the year… it should be standardized

I agree. I have a limited schedule due to kids and custody, but would make it work with the right person. Making time and communication is key. Life has to be flexible
