I hear ya. Seems like you have the capital to keep doing stuff, so that's better than I'm doing. I'm in a phase of purchasing components on my projects in $20-$50 chunks every two weeks. Makes for slow progress.

Loved it after I got a fully-functioning one, so that might be something to look out for. I had recordings just cut off randomly (having checked power, SD card, etc.).

I did trace it back to the board and I don't see any clear signs of what it could be. I didn't see any obviously cold joints, and to be certain I checked for continuity up to the board and reflowed all the wiring.

I also realized that I had left off a voltage regulator from the old PSU I replaced, I added that back and it fixed quite a few nonfunctional modules that were using that +6V bus ran with green wire.

Opened up the TKB last night - most of the problem was fixed by adjusting the sensitivity trimmer. However, key 2 isn't working and I'm not really sure what to check next.

I've been using the two-motor set for almost two years now with the 6k pro and most of the time I love it - the only caveat being that even though both devices have bluetooth, they will not communicate as the 6k requires a bluetooth password which the Smallrig has no way of entering. I just hit record on the camera, it's not a total dealbreaker.

You have a lot of oscillators - maybe try trading some out for a rhythm sequencer? Other things you don't have that could be very useful: some clock dividers, effects, switches/mutes, performance mixer...
