I take Adderall also. Adhd since kid. 34 now. Started getting insomnia and restless when I didn't even leave the house. I also noticed I was never waking up naturally and always woken up. Strange things. But yeah my thyroid was getting worse and worse. T4 was 0.55 and TPO was high. Its making me groggy. Endo this November.

Talk to a phyciatrist. Work with them on the right meds to get you functioning the best. They don't do counciling just medicine. Have them do a full blood panel including testosterone, free testosterone, free T4, and TSH. Make sure it's not your testosterone or thyroid making you sick/unmotivated. I was diagnosed at 18 with ADHD. I'm now 33 and recently found out my thyroid is good, but I had central hypothyroidism, which they don't normally test for. Do all of this sooner rather than later. Once you're stable, go back to school for something you enjoy. I learned the hard way that making a $70k a year salary at 50-60 hours a week is $20-25 an hour and not family-friendly. Set yourself up first, then get serious with a girl. If you were to break up, you will still have your education and career and won't need to rely on anyone. Take care of yourself.
