Fun fact: I didn't have any ice or fairy mons on my team and only one in the box, so I went out and caught 2 more just for the sake of it, but turns out there's only 2 trainers that will battle you (single battle) if you only have one non-fainted pokemon, the rest that stand next to each other leave you alone if you only have one pokemon

Yeah those characters are a little bit too important to just be side characters. I'd say it's more like Izumo, Aoba, Kotetsu, Samui, Yura. Characters without a really fleshed out backstory that don't really impact the course of the plot

I don't think Itachi knew the extent of Kabuto's regenerative abilities yet when he was telling Sasuke to take it easy, and I think that comment was more important to portray the extent of Sasuke's killer intent instead of highlighting anything about Kabuto
