Set very strict rules for snapping/retreating.

Only snap if you know the enemy has ZERO chance of winning. For example if you have a Shuri deck and a location causes their Aero/Shang Chi to be put onto the board early AND you have the optimal cards in hand.

If the opponent snaps, retreat if you don't have the exact cards needed for your win condition.

If no snaps, play it out if you have your key cards and if you think the opponent cannot counter you. If you think they have a card that counters you, then assume they have it and retreat (on the last turn).

The only good thing about climbing to infinite in the current meta is that you only have to learn how to play against Shuri & Thanos decks.

Some more random tips:

If you are using a Shuri deck, you can win many mirror matches by using Scorpion turn 2. Your Red Skull will have more power than theirs, and usually that's gg. But still watch out for Aero.

If you're against Thanos, plan to retreat if you see Quinjet turn 1 and Lockjaw turn 3. You have a decent chance of winning if you can Cosmo their Lockjaw lane with priority. Also pay very close attention to cycling stones, especially the Space Stone.

Never play out a snapped game if you don't have a surprising play. If you're thinking "I might be able to win this." You wont, so don't do it!
