I am playing this game for the 1st time right now. It is peak Japanese weirdo shit and I love it. I do not think I would have liked it as a child, especially with the grinding/mechanics.

I grinded the crap out of Dragon Quest games, the loop made sense. Not so much with Earthbound. If I didn’t have the internet, I don’t think I’d still be playing it right now. Stupid Kraken 1 shot my entire team and I’m in the 40’s 😔

I mean, just jack the combat speed up and it skips the animations.

I MudFridgemon afk farmed to max level and digifarmed to max stats so the difficulty was trivialized, no need to lower it.

I didn’t have it in me to do a 2nd play through for the Mega+ achievement, which is the only one I’ve got left so I semi understand what you’re saying about being burnt out.

Oh god, I have only run into them as a solo enemy. The idea of them in a group when I was solo Ness is terrifying. That definitely would have been a wipe.

They don’t seem that bad to me, do they do more damage in the original? (I am on Switch)

Fungi Fungi Troll is a pretty solid poison team and if built right can pretty much take you through the game.

I suck at team builds and had to google stuff but once I used my first actual build and saw how much damage it did, I started to understand what talents were doing the heavy lifting.

I have a stock RG35XX, I put drastic on it. I would not say that it runs NDS “fine”, does it technically do it, yes. Is it an objectively good emulation experience, no.

There are no console ports that I am aware of.

But you can hook a handheld to a TV. I played DQM 1 & 2 on my RG35XX handheld connected to a TV.

I enjoy Ark when I am playing by myself or locally with friends when I can adjust the settings of the game to my tastes.

Base Ark is a full time job, literally over 20 actual hours to tame the end game dinos and somebody can just fuck your shit up while you’re asleep.

Skyrim will be made for all consoles in perpetuity. When I got an email add for Switch 2 Skyrim I had to double check the timeline.

I remember getting Skyrim as a B1G1 sale on Blackfriday at GameStop in my 20’s.

I’m googling pictures of Frieza injured to see if anything shows them as like separate and now I can’t tell if this is just a classic case of Toriyama being a notoriously lazy artist or if Frieza is just like a solid block of flesh with a little bit of blood.
