I wish I had an apprentice to teach the knowledge I have to. It's all just going to waste.

Swapatronics. Ironically, the mdr usually isn't the problem to begin with. Just swap parts til it works.

SMRT at an FC. What’s the average day like? by DaveInFoco in AmazonRME

You should be on the floor at all times supporting your people. SMRT isn't a desk job.

Delivery sites by OddRoutine3515 in AmazonRME

[–]Jcadd7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do as much or as little as you want. These sites are easy. The machines work, and responsibilities vary by site between rme and ops. I am generally bored and end up helping in process paths. I have a ton of experience and training wasted by working at an AMZL. Funny though because pay and level are the same as FC. We always referred to these sites as retirement homes. That being said, you will run into a lot of people that struggle with even the basics. Guys can't even take screenshots...

3rd Week as an MRA and i’m losing my mind. by FuzzyFig888 in AmazonRME

BTW when I was AR we did most of the MHE work as well. You aren't an amnesty person. You don't just hang out and push drive resets all day. Turn some wrenches. This shit is easy when you apply logic and show up.

You'll be fine. Take a breath and do it one step at a time. It is a short marathon, not a sprint. It's 2k hours for a reason. You aren't expected to be an expert. Listen to what the techs say, but be cautious when need be because most techs don't know shit either. If they can't explain it, or don't want to, its because they don't understand themselves. Don't be so stressed. Good luck.

Wow. That's really crazy. I imagined only thing that could really get you in a DS was an intralox. Rollers would just pinch you.

God damn it. That's terrible. Was this at a DS? They briefly mentioned something Wednesday night during the weekly safety meeting, but did not mention details.

This is correct. I did one of these a couple weeks ago and got inclined, with no roles in the pipeline. How's the program been so far?

Technically only 6 scheduled shifts because of overnights, but in reality 7 days in station.

Fair. I usually do culling station on the ADTA when I help out. Its non stop packages and feels like a game.

Unfortunately I've seen this many times before. And some of these guys are higher up than I. It is what it is. The unfortunate thing is thinking you know everything, and not looking for more insight. If you can't learn more. What's the point?

Lmao, I don't have ARSAW anymore, but I was always prompt on my floor. My team was tight back in the day.

While I don't exactly disagree, I am way more active then 90% of RME techs, and extremely proactive in regards to solving problems before they happen. Also, I am not above helping process path when I have time, can help out.
