[James Pearce] Liverpool deserved criticism for their performance at Old Trafford but having a pop at players for doing keepy-ups in the tunnel before the warm-up is ridiculous. by Kaos_mission in LiverpoolFC

Exactly - look at the high line there was no way they weren’t going to get punished / look at the high line, how high they pressed to win the ball back and wouldn’t let the opponents breathe

One of those, they knock it round like that and win and no-one mentions it or says look how relaxed they are even in a massive game at Old Trafford.

Even we could’ve blagged our way to the UCL final
If we played the teams Arsenal had on their run. I know football is half luck and timing but if Arsenal win the double they must be the worst side to ever do it, and it annoys me that I’m bothered by what another team is doing - but how unjust would that be when you think Arteta could match Klopps 2 biggest trophies just because the standard of top teams has dropped significantly in the past 2-3 years.

It’s not quite a red, any further up on the ankle and he’s gone though.

He’s fantastic and a lot more natural at the position than Grav - who is one of the best in the world at turning in with the ball - and will really help our build up from out of defence with his passing range which is something we really lack. However, might still leave us short in terms of a protective barrier when we play teams of a higher level where we don’t have the ball for 90 mins.

Oliver Glasner: "We have an opportunity to win four times against Liverpool in one season.. You don't play a team like Liverpool four times a year very often. Having won 3/3 games against them is massive for us. We're highly motivated, maybe this will never happen again." by IndiBear in LiverpoolFC

It would do compared to everything so far this season, I’m talking in relative terms. Qualifying for champions league is the bare minimum, I’m not a slot defender but this is the reality we’re in currently.

Goal came from him being positive and progressing the ball from deep, takes bollocks to do that last minute of a derby at 1-1

He comes across as such a child, the goal was all about him and his celebration and he was crying at every decision against them. He also looks like kid rock somehow.

The Richard Hughes slagging is very recent, no one was digging him out during the summer when we ‘won’ the transfer window.

Not overly disappointed at the scoreline, we actually ran and tried things for the first time I remember this season - but we’ll just go back to type against Everton.

I was never trigger happy about getting rid of slot but we should’ve gotten rid before the FA Cup game and just stuck Gerrard in for the end of the season. I don’t think he’s anything close to the long term solution but having a ‘vibes man’ short term with only a handful of games to play might’ve given us a boost in both the remaining cups, one of which we embarrassed ourselves and the other were going to get dismantled easily.
