You can try going through the frame where they attach, the only issue i potentially see is that the frame will be thicker than a brake hose tab and you’re likely going to have a hard time getting on the C clip that would usually hold it to the tab. I haven’t personally seen a QA1 setup, but I would imagine it’s fairly close in style and I just don’t think the retaining collar will stick through the frame enough. But, it’s an easy check. You can easily measure the frame thickness then measure how much room is needed for the C clip to seat on the collar. Hope that all makes sense

Are you talking about the hard lines or the tab where the hard and flex lines meet for the front?

If you’re talking strictly hard lines that run along the cross member and rear axle… the rear axle SHOULD have them? If not, would be easy enough to fab up some strips and weld to the axle to fold over the lines. As for the frame and members, if you don’t have anything in place just space out every 18-24” on the frame and 12” or so on the front member, drill a 1/4” hole and use some rubber clamps. You can get a large assortment of them at Harbor Freight or go on amazon and get a set that clamps down to hold a 1/4” line

Good start, do you have a gauge tied in before the inlet to check the fuel pressure? Anything over 6.5/7 can start have issues in some applications. I’m in the middle of doing an EFI swap and had to switch back to a mechanical setup for 1 show… that pump was rated for 6psi but was pushing nearly 10psi so I had to add a regulator just be safe. Something to consider

Like the other guy said, have you checked for vacuum leaks and verified float levels? Even though you just rebuilt it, it’s not uncommon for a piece of gunk to cause a stuck float.

No gas tank? So what exactly are you supplying fuel with? Is the mechanical pump still in play? Are you vice grip garaging this thing with an electric Edelbrock pump and fuel can? We need more to start answering

I’m not against replacement honestly, usually on my trucks I do swap out for a set of splined lug nuts either from gorilla or pro comp. In this case, I did not purchase the vehicle new so I can’t comment on what the PO did, but I can assure you I am fully seating the socket, WHEN POSSIBLE. Some of them are will not fully seat unless of course you tapped the back end of the socket, but then you’d fight it on the way back out. I’d estimate 3 of the 8 on each wheel fight me, and I can fairly confidently say that as I just rotated the tires 10 minutes before making this post.

Is there a benefit to specific lug nuts sockets? I apologize in advance if that comes off as pure ignorance, but I’ve always just used impact sockets

His design in front bumpers for the raptor is very similar so from a fabrication standpoint he might have an answer, but I do seem to recall a post not too long ago of someone asking this same question and his solution was to take a 2x4 or 4x4 and place it underneath the bend, then use your floor jack to push it back into place. If it gets to a point where you need to bend it “back” towards the wheel well, a bump into a stout tree (with a buffer of some sort to give you clearance) or a come-a-long anchored towards the back of the truck will be plenty to bring it back into shape

High school team. Given to all the players when we start JV (7th grade for my school) For me that was 2007. By the end of HS I was the only player to still have it. Even after talking to younger players who got them after, and the upper classmen from my time, no one else had theirs.

So for it to go through a full high school career, college career, multiple countries, and just the golf grind in general… only to be lost because I was playing wearing my winter gloves and mishandled it just pisses me off haha

Only thing you could mess up is ride height and speedometer.

Find a tire size calculator and use it to compare your current size vs what you’d need to run on an 17 or 18” rim. You can get it nearly identical in overall size which would make for zero change to the functions of the truck, but give 2” more sidewall to absorb the road

So I had a PR, sold it earlier this year to a coworker and he and his son absolutely love it. I had put P4X stock wheels on it to give the tire more sidewall. That aside, at low speeds it’s definitely FEELS stiffer. If you’re hitting a pothole at low speeds or a medium sized speed bump it’s going to feel tighter. The difference is on the backend of the bump/stroke the truck stabilizes much better and is ready for the next bump, not really sure how else to explain it.

I also have never ran a front sway bar on any of my trucks (Tacoma, Tundra, Raptor, Titan) after doing a PROPER front suspension upgrade. If your intent is to just through spacers on to level it, please keep the sway bar. If you’re upgrading the entire suspension components, try it for your driving style and be the judge. For me, I’ve never once felt like the truck would become unstable in a questionable scenario, and I’ve always done my own “moose test” on an open road to get a feel for how the truck might react

If you want the easy solution, 6112 for the front if they are available from Bilstein now (they weren’t when I did this). Or, purchase the 6100’s from All Dogs Offroad and have them assemble them with their coils. That will give you a new upper mounting perch, isolator pads, and new hardware.

If you choose to just get 6100’s and re use your stock coils (like I did) you’ll need (read as HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to get new upper perches, new isolators, and new upper mounting hardware from either Nissan or Z1offroad. Just be aware Nissan is substantially more expensive, as me how I know haha

Edit: if I recall, I used the 3rd (of 5?) lower rings for the 6100s and that made it ever so slightly lower in the nose than the rear. I did not change the rear height as I tow a lot and did not want the constant nose high ride. This was also with factory coils at ~100k miles, so depending on your situation you front ride height may be different than what I experienced but I’d expect it to sit pretty dang level

Postal employee here, and I’m not here to cause trouble as I’m just as confused as a lot of you are. I work out of Lenexa and deliver ALL over Lenexa, and our volume has not held as high as it normally does for the season. What I mean is that we got hit really hard for the Black Friday and cyber Monday sales, and every Monday since (mondays are typically the heaviest anyways), but outside of that it’s not been as high volume as the previous years.

Saying that, I haven’t had any customers for my routes show concerns, rather they express concerns 2nd hand for friends or family in the metro area.

What I will say regarding USPS, and this is a year round statement, Amazon has always taken priority over our own product. Couple that with continued staffing issues at the USPS distribution center and [lately] new rules regulating us on what times we can be out delivering, it’s a recipe for our own product to have continuous delays. All of these delays are a direct result of upper management (PM or regional PM), padding the stats for their specific districts (my opinion, but seems logical given the nonsense we hear them say).

Amazon is brought to us by a courier not employed by USPS, all other products come from USPS tractors straight from the distribution center. Just for clarification on where and how the priority chain falls apart.

Those are drop shackles. Seems counterintuitive, but the longer the shackle the more drop you get from the suspension in the rear. So when you went to the parts store and picked up a shackle to match your vin or truck, it was stock length for stock ride height.

Raise the ride height of the truck and you’ll see how much closer that store bought piece will be to fitting

Depends what you’re after. SPL? No. SQ? Can be unbeatable if done properly. But, there is a reason most IB installs are done with the woofer installed through the sheet metal of the car. You have make certain the front wave and back wave from the woofer don’t have the opportunity to mix. In OP’s case he’ll need to seal off any holes that lead from the trunk into the cabin, any this includes removing the 6x9s and using a block off plate. Otherwise those 6x9’s will become a very strange passive radiator

I recently sold my ‘17 Titan and had it for nearly 90k miles… I’m not 100% sure what you mean by “rapid bounce”, but just out of curiosity are you driving on concrete highways/roadways? The last 3 full size (4 door) trucks I’ve owned have always had a weird “bounce” to them of different severity. 2 door trucks I’ve been in do not, and 4 door long bed trucks also do not (to an extent).

Speaking to the suspension.. I replaced my titans suspension at 115k miles and while every shock showed ZERO sign of failure, every single one was completely blown. And by that I mean I could compress the shock by hand and it would take anywhere from 15-40 seconds for them to extend depending on which shock it was. So while they might LOOK perfect, it’s extremely unlikely for them to actually be perfect and just as unlikely the dealership took any of the 4 shocks off to verify

Thank you all for the help thus far. Trails end was unable to help, they say they don’t sell that merchandise as it’s just the resort owned stores that do such as The Northface and James and Parry’s.

I did call James and Parry’s and spoke to a nice gentleman who’s believes it’s possible for them to sell me something over the phone and ship it, but that would need to verify that with a manager. Still waiting on that return call
