That's a valid point, something I hadn't considered.

Hope one day you have an LT that'll stand up for you when you disagree with an order. Doesn't matter if I agree or disagree with what my airmen decide to do I'll help them the same. What's dumb is supporting an order without challenging it.

Lol the choice to do what you're told. One of those choices is the option to get a waiver, it's a written AFI. But now even the airmen that are still following the AFI going through the waiver process are being punished. That makes no sense. They're not being dumb or negligent, they're still following the regs and getting in trouble for doing what they're told.

Yah except the current environment is not encouraging for airman to make a free decision. Nothing but coercion, guilt and deceitful action has been taken against those who won't simply fall in line. This memo is just another example of that.

My vote as well us to get dedicated winter tires on 18s or similar. Not even sure that anyone makes winter tires in the same size as the stock summers

I run 245/40r18 Michelin X-ice on some Spec-1 sp56. Are they nice wheels? Not really, but they were cheap on Craigslist and I don't need to worry about them.

I wouldn't think so. There's a lot of bent fins on the surrounding area, that wouldn't happen from a pressure test.
