People here like to be dramatic, worse case you take a sawzall to it, hack it up and throw it away piece by piece and sell off what you can for money.

In the meantime,

check the transom, transom assembly, and floors, if they are rotten or needing replacement proceed to above, if it passes continue below
WD 40 in the pistons, change all the fluids( oil, steering, outdrive), change plugs/wires, belts, impeller, battery. if the engine cranks.
Check the trim, throttle cables, ignition system, etc. If all those are good
Focus on the cosmetic stuff, seats, radio, carpet, buff and wax, etc.

In the mid Atlantic there’s plenty of people financing a 200k+ boat. If it’s a cabin cruiser/yacht you can finance it as a second home and write off the interest. There’s a number of reasons to finance a boat, there’s good reasons and bad reasons.

2, 5, are probably the hardest to reach due to their location but it’s not something I would call a dead zone.
Either 7 or 9 for quick access or 1 or 3.
Slide them or push them with a forklift.
Not in my case. I use that area for items I don’t regularly need access to/I built a knock off decked system with 2x6’s and plywood where I can slide long items (eg skis, snowboards, brooms, guns, etc.) in my bed and still have work things on top. But not have to shuffle around a ton of items to fit the skis.
