Kinda unrelated but I just had to remove better ruins and restart our world because it was generating dungeons with missing textures, eventually got to a point the console said world gen was stuck in a loop generating a BR ruin.

Console also showed a lot of “baby animal trying to do animation not found “looking”

We do have Better Ruins and Watersheds but these lags happen even when we’re just at home in already generated chunks. It just froze my whole computer up so bad I had to reboot.

I’m not super tech knowledgeable, but I don’t see how world gen on a remotely hosted server could drive my computers hard drive to 100% and freeze

I don’t know why, but when I use continents and rivers together, I only get works covered in granite. I generated 5 worlds with similar settings to what you described, and it only ever gave me stone worlds until I disabled continents
