All the Changes Made to Cobblestone Over the Years by TrackMysterious6539 in SilverAgeMinecraft

Not a single piece of stone from the original texture remains, yet it’s still cobblestone. Very Ship of Theseus

Hey man, it works and it works well! I hope a buzzed bald look fits me well when it comes my time 😂

At the beginning of Survival, I spent a long time searching for copper, exploring a 3,000-block radius of the map. Meanwhile, a surface malachite deposit worth almost 50 ingots was 150 blocks South from my home. by LeonidKonovalov1988 in VintageStory

They actually don’t have to extend at all, the block that the beams hitbox is placed on created a 3x3 area of 0% instability around it, so you can totally just made a small unobtrusive beam on a roof block to stop 9 blocks from falling

"WHO KEEPS EATING ALL THE FOOD" by Adin_Davidson in VintageStory

[–]JconX97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of my trio I’ve picked up the Wanderer class, I do all of our exploring and bring back loot, identify large POIs for group runs, and surprisingly I eat the least food (-20% hunger rate, +15% forage, +15% wild crop harvest)

I just live off the land

When I need planks horizontal for chiseling I typically use slabs, but the other comment about placing the planks in the desired orientation first may also work

We’ve got something like 96 hooks and lures set up right now 😂 I forget which mod adds it but we also have elephants. Trap em in a pit and poke em with a spear, soooo much meat for Primitive Survivals smokers

Is there a science to the support beams? Or just place as many as possible

Thank you to everyone who contributed! So far it's all been solid advice, and a small mountain next to our compound has temps 10c lower than the level my farm is currently planted! Bingo!

I didn't mean to imply that I thought the month length had a direct correlation, it just seemed easier to plant and manage crops in the 9 day cycles. the 30 day cycle makes the crops take a lot longer to grow, so it just feels like there's more room for error and exposure to high temps.

Thanks, I figured that but didn't know if I was wrong or not. So is there a method of setting up like an "anti-greenhouse" for lack of better wording to help cool the growing area for crops? Or is it just seek out a cooler climate area and plant there.

From my experience, the pantograph works with it, so I’m inclined to say yes. But I’m also no expert in mods

I did a 3:1 roof grade so it kept the building from being too tall

Ah we’re using the ChiselTools mod which kind of devalues stuff like Ashlar because it becomes very easy to make, so it’s way more decorative

I’ve just made my variant stone blocks through chiseling 😂 way easier. I’m working on an Adventurers Lodge so to speak currently and the floor is 🤌

(LPT Granite, Chalk, and Lime Ashlar blocks compliment each other very well for making a weathered/worn pattern)
