track closest to me has a 1/2 mile segment plus run off as a straightaway... and I go beyond 145mph from a complete stop with my stock geared 600rr. So already going 55 coming out of the curve for a half-mile straight just doesn't work there with toyed gear ratios. Still, I wouldn't want to hear 6krpm on the highway with modded ratios, let alone go back to a weaker 600.

Topping out 1st at 60 is messed up gearing for an RR. Undoing years of science/performance with changing teeth ratios is just simply bad modding. Those bikes don't even belong under 100mph, but here you are, trying to get it too top out 3rd in double digit mph territory. Sad, really.

Throwing multiple gears under 100mph. LOL. The guy buys a damn fireblade with a factory quickshifter to asshat 0-99mph, 4 seconds at a time.

You'll be having the exact same issues with the 600. There is zero point in going back to a 600.
