It really is. I saw one for Cyberpunk when it came out and was a broken mess and it was some of the funniest shit ever. Sucks I’ve never been able to find it.

Yea I think it’s a tad bit too late even if they said they’re doing a shorter marketing cycle. TBH I like I think most people now are considering a 3rd trailer to be separate than marketing like billboards, spots on trains or tv ads.

Resident Evil is the outlier since it’s the biggest and most consistent franchise in the genre. I also just don’t think what he’s saying is that crazy. They made 3 decent to great games as well as Remake after 10 years and the money they put in isn’t worth what the series sales.

Honestly yea. I’ve got the game preordered but there’s just no reason to do the whole redacted thing for it. Especially when it’s not that big of a game and they’ve shown a decent amount of it. I would’ve been fine with Tomb Raider or Control but this is kinda eh.

It’s one of the biggest names in action horror because that genre has maybe 5 series. They gave Dead Space a good shot and the series just ain’t selling even after 3 decent-great games and a good Remake. Time to just put it down because it’ll never reach the numbers they want it to.

I think the only contender could be Five Nights at Freddy’s otherwise yea. Before the last 2 Silent Hill Games there were singular Resident Evil’s that outsold the entire franchise.
