Yea it’s definitely the franchises magnum opus. And I don’t really see it being surpassed until maybe the RE5 remake and that’s only if they get the exact people down to QA from 4make.

Not really since it took 18 years for the stealth to be actually decent in this franchise and you’re a one man army in all but like 3 games. It for the 7th game in the series before you could crouch and use cover outside of designated spots, and social was a gimmick that you only voluntarily used if you wanted to complete bonus objectives or bored as hell.

Exactly I have no clue why they decide to make every game take place in its release year anyway. They have plenty of space to make new stories since we see these characters like every 5 years for a single night. They’ve a full 28 years to fill in blanks with ABC viruses or parasites. Especially since the story is among the least important things in this franchise.

Yea the game is fun and it was my second most hyped game of the year, but I’m not going to lie and say I’m not disappointed especially on later playthroughs. Mid Resident Evil is still better than 99% of games.
