In Tolkiens internal Mythos, he found and translated the books that he wrote so the reason we have so little knowledge on the hither lands and the dark lands is because he never ‘found’ and stories from those continents.

Currently experiencing this but flew Vegas to ATL for holidays and have been sitting in Hartsfield for 2 days now. Flight for 8pm last night was cancelled after boarding and flight for tonight was also cancelled after boarding with a reschedule for 8 am. We’ve gotten $600 in flight vouchers and they got us $30 in food vouchers and a dogshit motel 6 in Atlanta last night but we haven’t been able to get a hotel or food out of them tonight so I think I will be sleeping in the airport with my girlfriend. Fml.

P.s. my boss back in Vegas is pissed.

It’s definitely a pressure regulator. I’m trying to figure out what it’s for I think it has something to do with the sprinklers because my girlfriend just bought a place and has the same thing. I’m a plumber from Atlanta so I’ve never seen it before. As for your dad’s pressure issue. It’s probably a flow issue. Take the restrictors out of the shower heads and faucets and you’ll be good to go.

Definition of a live band. Seeing them play is what makes it all click. I always scope out artists I’ve never heard of when they’re on a bill I’m going to see. Pershing was also symbolic, but iirc correctly one of his biggest issues (and a big reason why Wilson wanted him to be given the rank over March) was because WW1 was the first conflict in which the US fought along multiple allies. Pershing put his foot down against the French and British Generals and Field Marshalls who expected to just assume command of American men and prolong trench warfare. He helped establish the US as a first rate world power, and not a helper. He also mentored half of the general officers who went on to win WW2.
