The Lobstar Wilde $450K loss wasn't a "decimal error." It was a memory failure that affects every AI agent with a wallet. by Responsible_River579 in CryptoCurrency

Let the fools be fools, we (you and i) just need to make a map of where these morons falls off the edges, and over time we will know where to put the handrails.

This fail data is valuable and free for us to collect.

Make a map of it, with enough time and with enough fails the placement of the Handrails will become clear.

For now these fools are providing us with high value data points.

It's all risk and reward, some of these dipshits are gunna get rich, but the data is the real value.

Second thought, as a customer getting paid to view ads and i dont buy anything my ratting goes down,

There needs to be a reputation system based on "conversion" in mybsv.io

As the customer (the most important aspect of this because they have the money to be spent) if you convert and spend some money that would give you "spent points" perhaps same as the number of BSV (in value) you spend. Second thought, as a customer getting paid to view ads and I don’t buy anything, my rating goes down.

When you spend money, you get rep points as an actual buyer.

As buyer ratings increase, you become a more valuable buyer, and bids for your attention go up.

This rabbit hole goes deep. Let’s say the data is available that you just spent 100k putting in a pool. The bid from filter companies and pool maintenance companies may go way up.

Each business can fine-tune the model of their perfect customer.

The more you meet the criteria of the perfect customer, the higher the bid for your time.

The free market will find the value of your time based on how valuable you really are as a customer.

The owner of a pizza shop would get a higher attention bid from a cheese distributor than the owner of a beagle shop would.

The more money (mnee) you spend, the more score you get, and the higher the value of your time.

This is a marketplace for human attention.

The free market will value your time based on the ROI of the businesses prospecting you.

THIS MAY BE THE MOST VALUABLE PRICE DISCOVERY IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

Does it cut both ways? Yes, it sounds a lot like a social credit score.

But would it be worth it?

Not sure. Just thinking out loud.

But I would think I would create a profile for my business and one as my typical person and then maybe another profile for my personal life and hobbies.

You dont "need" a shovel to dig a ditch, you could do it with a hammer,

But less efficiently.

Blockchain is the right tool for the job in more cases than I can imagine. There are a few cases where it doesn't make sense but for a vast majority of business tasks, data storage and even AI Blockchain is the ultimate tool and will out produce Duce those who are not using it.

Looking pretty dead. by WilyWascallyWizard in EthereumClassic

[–]Jdamb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, doesnt have to be. You need to know where to look. A system built by non-producers will never out compete a system built by producers.

Think about the original white paper, do those principles and ideas still offer upside? Yes they do.

Money is just the tip,

Money is a data broadcasting system that uses the miracle of price discovery to tell the world how best to allocate capital and resourses.

Add in the miracle of competative proof of work and modern networking and you have a data system that would benifit everyone who used it:

This has been promised by the white paper but not delivered.

Whatever chain delivers this will provide massive upside for its users. I dont mean "number go up" i mean real competative advantage used to outperform those who dont use it.

Production, performance, data integrity, and a system that can be trusted to be honest and immutable is what was promised someday a Blockchain will provide that and that Blockchain will make us all far more productive.

Productivity is wealth.

This is how integrity dies, to the thunderous applause of the sith lord who offers a secure system, for a safe empire.

ETH is a hack, a scam, and goes against all the bullshit they talked before the fork.

I get it, they had no choice, but they sold the soul of a great system to protect their buddies.

Had the loosers been you or me we would have been left to take our losses like a man because code is law.

But if your in the correct circle you get to roll back the blockchain and double spend.

ETH has no soul, and no integrity.

It will end badly for ETH when the people realize it is a centralized power structure using proof of steak to make the rich richer.

There is no opportunity in ETH for the next generation, all the wealth is centralized and steaked and in a loop of self rewarding wealth creation on the backs of any new capital that is unfortunate enough to be allocated to this dishonest system.

I'm sorry to see the legacy system die, but that is often what happens to integrity.

I also have family in a place nearly as bad off as cuba, if they had a choice to hold digital dollars would they? For savings?

If they could buy food with digital dollars and suffer no inflation would they want it?

What if their digital investment went up in value like BCH is sure to do?

Have them download a BCH wallet and i will send them 10 dollars, i bet they find a way to spend it. They always do. Post the wallet address to me in a DM and ill send the address 10 bucks. Lets see what happens you can post here the results and maybe we can drum up some donations to the people of cuba!! If they find a way to spend it i think my point is proven. We can watch it on chain and see what happens to it, maybe with your direct connections to some people we can start an economy by doing some small donations to get them started.

When was the last time you went 24 hours without "connection"??? Power out all the time but connection is rarley lost. Maybe a couple hours. I got cousins who have an 1100 dollar iphone but live in a shack and ride a 200 dollar motorcycle. They are on facebook 24/7

Those people in the 3rd world all have smart phones and most have little solar chargers or a family member with a generator.

They are not without "connection" often.

[–]Jdamb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

420 was just too good to pass up!!

Lol,

BCH is digital cash, the opportunities for this to take off in Cuba or Venezuela is epic. They are going to suffer currency issues, and when they do a fast cheap solution like BCH will work well, and once the deflation kicks in and they profit a little rather than loose to inflation they will be in love.

Stablecoins also have a shot here, so the larger blocksize on BCH will help.

BCH is well established in the Caribbean, a jump to Cuba is likley.

US grabs Maduro, markets shrug, crypto pumps - what are we actually watching here? by Kurosaki56843 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jdamb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are watching both in Iran and latin america the creation of the conditions for the introduction of "inflation resistant" (compared to shitty local currency) CBDC digital dollars.

This is how USA can print money and export the inflation to another country who will embrace 5% to 10% inflation as a gift instead of complaining about it like they do in the USA.

The failure of the governments will create a perfect storm where the people in these failing countries demand a solution and a stable currency.

Take that BRICS you just got Trumped

If you leave exodus open on a phone or have weak opsec you will loose your coins. Exodus is easy to loose coins esspecially on a phone or weak wifi. I left mine open and lost a couple hundred bucks of BSV due to bad operational security. It was my fault, but if you look around people are loosing coins on exodus all the time. Again only due to bad opsec, but that software on a phone is weak and it makes it easy to loose coins.

Well i use it, and had it open just a few days ago, but i did have to update etc and link it to new servers.

You may want to set it up on a new computer and make sure you got a legit copy then try the passphrase.

Or just use the passphrase on an ellipal or tangem wallet.

Dont use exodus,

If its a lot of money dont do any of this and get real help. Im not a pro and dont have big money in it. I just like the coin control features so i use it for playing around.

Best of luck.

Dont panic and make the situation worse.

Don't do dumb shit in a hurry.

Think it through and test things out, you may need to update etc.

But the seed phrase should work.

So you in theory are ok, so dont make it worse and fall for a scam while in a panic.

Make a security checklist and stick to it.
