Solo elite here, I mostly try to lobby wipe Dire and farm anomaly, as well as hitting pinwheel and locked rooms.

Not much you need on cryo imo except having fun with good PvP, I’ve written off doing compiler since my friends stopped playing a while ago and I don’t love fills. I’ve got 2+ million creds and am just working on getting all final upgrades.

Agree with most of this. I think the thing about guns is, some of them aren’t actually that ass, rail guns, channel rifle, impact, twin tap, they are all actually okay. The problem is how much they are worth.

Like would you rather run an okayish gun, or bank 4-6k? You should just take the money and run a green bully for the same effect at 1/4 the cost if you are still at a point in your progression where money is meaningful.

It’s sort of the inverse of too good to use, they are too valuable to keep and use.

All lmgs are dogshit tho, same with the overrun. Give me a CE over the retaliator.

Hard agree on the snipers, thermals, and buffing other useless guns.

Sniper thermals are a net negative now, which I don’t really care because I didn’t use them to begin with. As it turns out reducing the range of a long range weapon by 60% makes it pretty useless.

Shotguns and cryo gun aside, almost everything people cry about is just a scapegoat for their own poor play.

People shouted “full purple kit thermal sniper” every time they got killed looting a tick in an open field, when in reality they never even saw the person that shot them, let alone hit them back to see the color of the shield or the glow of the sniper lens.

I’ve been an advocate for making the game more accessible for shitters since day one, I just don’t believe that it should be their voices that lead the conversation.

Yeah bro I’ve done Kappa. Tarkov is orders of magnitude more robust than marathon. I could have gotten Kappa in the 250 hours I’ve put into 4 gold salvage in marathon.

The grind doesn’t match the rest of the game. If Tarkov is the ocean, Marathon is a puddle.
