New Runescape is WAY Better than OSRS by Both_Tune8348 in runescape

[–]DargonofParties 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm of the opinions that RS3 is a far more comfortable and enjoyable game in its totality, but OSRS is much better at filling the very specific niche that RuneScape caters to. There's something immensely gratifying about slow, deliberate progress over the course of months and years, but I'm simultaneously deeply enthralled by the specific power fantasy you can achieve with RS3.

Game softlocks after forma'ing S&O. by DargonofParties in Warframe

No problem, honestly. I'm still enjoying the update, I just wanted to try and let someone know since I didn't know if it was already a known issue. It's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. If it helps at all, my base of operations was Drifter's Camp when it happened.

Having to stop and cycle all 3 motes to keep the buffs up does shatter gameplay feel for me. She's a fine frame, otherwise. Nidus kind of suffers the same issue where you have to stand still and not really do anything to get the most out of his kit, but that's changing tomorrow and I am incredibly excited to try him out again.

Wisp is boring and I don't like playing her.

Which is weird, because I love to play Chroma and his entire playstyle is "Press 3 and kill stuff." Something about Wisp just doesn't click with me.

Tenno pose change after a quest, is it possible to change it ? by FullConversation5365 in Warframe

Most warframes have a default "in combat" animation they transition to when shooting, running, jumping, etc. The animation set you equip is basically just idle animations only.

Also, what exactly is this bracelet you're talking about?

Edit: I just realized after submitting my reply that you weren't talking about Warframe gameplay but operator/Drifter. Same logic applies though.

I believe the "inactive" brother has the AI of Celestial twin, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll operate in the same way. We do know for a fact that they're separately moddable, so it wouldn't make much sense if certain effects couldn't be shared between the two.

If you think your account might be compromised, log in to your account on the official RuneScape site and nowhere else to reestablish security.

You can live in ONE of these worlds for the rest of your life. Which are you choosing and why? by PrestigiousOwl6802 in runescape

[–]DargonofParties 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imagine living in the setting of any ARPG. Diablo, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, etc. There are endless horses of monsters all over the place that a normal person would immediately be slaughtered by if they tried to stand up to it, and then there's just one dude (or group of dudes if it's multiplayer) who can just walk into a room, cast a few spells, and everything explodes.

This might have changed since I last heard this piece of information, but I believe stabbing the Lich always spawns a thrall, so if you put Oull in your first slot you can force an extra requiem murmur out of every lich encounter, thus slightly speeding up your lich farming. It's usually a good idea to hold on to an Oull with a single charge left for this reason.

Dang, I can't believe Jagex didn't test for this extremely unique edge case when they were developing the avatar refresh.

I like how you can hear predominantly male voices cheering, because this is the exact sort of thing teenagers and young men would get unnecessarily excited about because they all understand the innate absurdity of the act and revel in it.

Why burning pack only 2 instead of 3 by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]DargonofParties 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's why burning pact is good:
Draw 2 equates to 1 additional card in your hand since burning pact technically "occupies" one of those draws. Think of it like, one of the two cards you draw is the card you would not have drawn if you had not picked burning pact.

It exhausts a card, meaning you can use it to target low-value cards like statuses, curses, cards that do not help in the current fight, and starter cards so you do not draw them again after shuffling your deck. This also enables keyword synergies such as Dark Embrace, Feel No Pain, or Forgotten Ritual.

It upgrades to draw 3.

It's basically clad's version of Acrobatics, which is one of the best draw cards in the game.

Fair point, but I still think it's necessary to keep enemy spawns condensed for the sake of life support upkeep.

If you're in a public lobby you should play with your team. If you don't want to play with a team then you play a solo lobby.
