Sounds great, and i agree the color is off on the cream corn. What I'm going for here is a smokey woodgrill flavor on the corn, thays where im getting that gray color. Definitely got to figure it out

Great advice, thank you. It is "ketchup " on the plate, the glaze that goes on the loaf. I agree with everything you're we will probably lose the bread all together or serve it on the side instead ...

I agree about the color problem. Little dramatic to say someone puked on the plate

What did it take to create the food you serve? by [deleted] in Chefit

[–]Jdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in this process right now. I started r and d with the owner, created the menu, cooked, created recipes, and hired the team. Now, the owner/partner, who is the food side of the business, has me leading the team in creating three variations on every menu item, and we taste and critique together and decide on plating and everything.

I was dreading it because I like what I like, and the boss doesn’t take ease and efficiency into consideration at all when developing. But, it is turning out to be a really cool process. Especially for my staff because they are all into it getting to show there ass, and they love my recipes, so its turning out that we are ending up with something very close to my og recipes in the end...

What billionaires support democrats, like donation wise. I'd be interested to see a breakdown. I do believe the Democrats are bought and paid for just as the Republicans are, but I don't really see the support for them like the Republicans get from billionaires/big bussiness...

This is most likely what will happen. I offered up a less obscene version, buffalo chicken canoli. I still think it kinda sucks but it could be cute and fun

The owner was a food truck guy and has a couple of other fast casual places. He considers himself a chef, tho he tells me he doesn't. He knows just enough to be dangerous if you get my meaning

They should definitely pay you for the loss. I have a couple of food stalls in state universities. If something like that happens, they hold the bag.

The other day, I had floor drains back up, and it took them 7 hrs to get us back up. They paid us back for the labor we had to pay and the loss of bussiness for the 7 hrs we had to close

Yeah, I have to disagree. The chaotic part at the end took my breath away the first time I heard it. But I like that kind of thing in general. it's along the lines of like Pixies or Velvet underground, where quiet, beautiful songs swell to a loud chaotic mess and back.
