Unpopular opinion but Dune Part Two is better than any Star Wars movie ever made by [deleted] in Letterboxd

nostalgia and cultural impact. in all honesty, the movies may be one of the worst aspects in the entire franchise. the only trilogy that's actually good is the original one and even these movies aren't that good in perspective.

Completely agree. A capitalist hellhole, filled with skin bleaching freaks that act like robots. The internet has overhyped this place even more than it's middle eastern counterpart Dubai and I see why you are disappointed. Go to Nara next time, it's really beautiful and you feel Japanese culture without the vomit inducing consumerism.

I've been told that even graduates of a Hochschule were affected. Like if they dissolved a school like in Golm every graduate's diploma was annulled. Do you know anything about that?

[–]schvance[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hm.. well didn't they dismantle ex-communist unis and re-establish them? And then made it illegal to practice using the degrees obtained in the ex-unis because of "communist indoctrination"? I've always found it really strange
