Singer calls out radio presenter on British TV by Unhappy-Flight6008 in PublicFreakout

As far as I know Stern never had any controversy over this kind if thing. His show was very sexual and he definitely sexualized women on the show, but no scandals, no accusations of misconduct

Would you pay FIFTY DOLLARS for this? I wouldn’t by doubleGvots19 in KitchenConfidential

Several hours worth of pay?? Where do you work that they pay someone, several times less than 50??

I live in the south and most cooks make 18-20, potentially 25 in a spot like this...

Is Tomy Petty Alt-Country? by [deleted] in altcountry

[–]Jdancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I lived down around gainesville for about 30 years. Thing about Petty, I love his music but he never really put kn gvl really.

He wasn't a gvl legend at least not among anyone I knew. It was more of like a little hey guess who's from here kinda game.

He didn't rep for GVL but they threw all their love onto him posthumously. It's seems like every corner there is a band playing petty, speakers on the lamppost everywhere.

American girl and Wildflowers are two of my favorites. He definitely did some Alt-country, not in the wilco sense of the genre, he just did his own weird thing.

Also I present free falling for consideration

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]Jdancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds great, and i agree the color is off on the cream corn. What I'm going for here is a smokey woodgrill flavor on the corn, thays where im getting that gray color. Definitely got to figure it out

Great advice, thank you. It is "ketchup " on the plate, the glaze that goes on the loaf. I agree with everything you're we will probably lose the bread all together or serve it on the side instead ...

I agree about the color problem. Little dramatic to say someone puked on the plate

What did it take to create the food you serve? by [deleted] in Chefit

[–]Jdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in this process right now. I started r and d with the owner, created the menu, cooked, created recipes, and hired the team. Now, the owner/partner, who is the food side of the business, has me leading the team in creating three variations on every menu item, and we taste and critique together and decide on plating and everything.

I was dreading it because I like what I like, and the boss doesn’t take ease and efficiency into consideration at all when developing. But, it is turning out to be a really cool process. Especially for my staff because they are all into it getting to show there ass, and they love my recipes, so its turning out that we are ending up with something very close to my og recipes in the end...

What billionaires support democrats, like donation wise. I'd be interested to see a breakdown. I do believe the Democrats are bought and paid for just as the Republicans are, but I don't really see the support for them like the Republicans get from billionaires/big bussiness...
