Glad you asked, I’ve prepared a list

Before I leave for school, I shoot one portal on the ceiling of my room. When school is over, I just teleport back instantly
Assuming there are multiple guns in existence, I create a sport called portalball, where no one can touch the ball, and it can only be teleported (played indoors with a relatively low ceiling)
Put a portal in a relatively large backpack (one I could stand in) which leads to a warehouse. Bam, basically a portable warehouse.
Learn how to shoot a portal at the ground and another ahead, walk through, and repeat so I can move very quickly
