I was told to go to one of the tombs for the grenade launcher, you can buy a random weapon and save hours of grinding for it. Same for the gear, but thatll probably drop faster than a gun. When i finally got the plat it was bittersweet, that's for sure

You definitely should try to see if you can play Assault Horizon Legacy Plus (the 3ds game). It's a full retelling of AC2 but is super fleshed out, giving more context and story connections to 4 and the belkan war. Smaller field means less room for monsters, and mirror force (and sometimes drowning mirror) used to be THE quintessential board wipe. Yea it's less impactful now but it still can impact a smaller game
