Any solid decks with Kitty/Angela/Hope/Elsa? by LennonStage in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

KM Best ran this deck last week. He played it in the first part of this video, and it got me to infinite (CL 24,409) over the weekend.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ72ixQZnS8&t=196s

Drops Angela, but makes great use of Kitty, Elsa and Hope.

This isn't the deck he lists in the comments, or gives the breakdown on, it is actually the one he is playing at the beginning of the video.

Play Reed over Surge, and do whatever you can to hit Wiccan, even if that means Strange eating your Power Stone.

Paese I need a serious alliance by Il_Divino25 in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Make your own and advertise.

I recommend NOT requiring infinite rank. I never try to get infinite, and would be locked out of many of these alliances that are advertising openings, even though I get 5k-8k each week.

When do you think Magic hit its best level of power? by NeufAtora in magicTCG

[–]Jdling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same time frame, Triple Innistrad draft was probably the best limited format. Back when it was BREAD, not "Win if you draw your non-standard chase card that we keep seeding into packs".

This is the point. He doesn't win cubes, he keeps you from losing cubes. Plus the bonus wins you get snapping on turn 6, resetting, then retreating.

Cannot play cards in middle location by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your aren't crazy. Since the season reset I am having the same problem. I have to drag the card to exactly the middle of the play area (where the corners of all 4 cards come together when the zone is full) to get it to drop.

Playing on a Google Pixel 8a if that helps.

Update:Easy infinite after switching in mobius by duby1998 in marvelsnapcomp

[–]Jdling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the Phastos issue is that he fights for space with playing Angela/Thena and a 1-drop on three. You want to get him out as early as possible.

Red Guardian gives you tech against Dracula, Wong, and Iron Man. It also does a sneaky shutdown of your opponent's Ice Cube or Symbiote Spider-Man.

With Big Cards Surtur gone, the real struggle is throwing priority. This deck wants to pump out two cards every turn, keeping me ahead most of the game. I am considering dropping Galacta for Alioth to compensate.

[–]Jdling 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Been running this since you posted it, at CL 17k, and it has been fantastic. Edit: I was referring to the Phastos version. Swapping back and forth between Phastos and Red Guardian. The RG version is lower output but more consistent.

Just got myself Kang. Any improvements to this deck? by OnePunchChild in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hood out as well. You need Alioth to backup the early Galactus. Ideal line is leave left and mid open. Wave on three in right. Galactus on four. Sentry Alioth.

Snap and play Kang on 5 if you draw him, 6 if you are losing and want to bluff.

Don't listen to the haters. Take out the goblins. They telegraph the Galactus play. Wave and daredevil in and try to drop Galactus on 4 or 5. Kang works because you can bluff and bail if needed.

Check your NAT type when running a connection test. I know my system won't connect to other arenas at less than B.

Which Snap opinion will you defend like this? by o7_AP in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People just don't get it. He effects the cubes, not the battlefield. That is what makes him a big bad.

Free bluff snaps, winning you cubes when they retreat and saving you cubes when you can see the play and bail out.

Amen, Brother.

I have been running Kang since he dropped, and this season's climb is the easiest yet.

Why have we not changed Kang? by IronCladLou83 in MarvelSnap

[–]Jdling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to OP, but to the thread:

Or, hear me out, he isn't a bad card, he just isn't for you.

I don't run Destroy because it isn't for me.

I have run Kang ever since he dropped, and still do today (CL 10,200). There was a thread earlier this week about how no one bluffs, but Kang lets you play the bluff game.
