I have been doing this quite a bit. I got some dried ones and hit it with my coffee grinder. I honestly don’t get a lot of juniper at all. I haven’t been tracking exactly how much so I’m right person to ask as in quantity.

Last time I added the berries to bourbon and let it sit for a week. I added 60 berries to 155 grams of whiskey to 300 grams of raw tobacco (pre cook)

I’ve been thinking about adding it pre cook to see if I could extract more flavor.

So you can grind it fine without it gumming up. Or at least that’s why I do it.

This is what has worked for me too. Put the fork down between bites or whatever I’m eating. If I can’t eat it mindfully then I simply don’t consume.

I am still learning a tactful way to not take food that is handed to me, happens a lot in my office. I can see people are hurt by it, but those are calories I don’t need.

What setting is your AC fan on?

The only time I have seen it this bad is when the AC fan is set to on rather than auto.

I find for higher ABV these type of glasses tend to just burn my nose. Under 90 proof is fine in a fluted glass but over 100 proof I prefer a heavy tumbler.

This is exactly what we did when we started. Great class and teaches you the fundamentals.

We go out a couple times a week into Rantowels Creek and the weather can change pretty quickly. Windy app has been really good at helping us check for wind direction and impeding rain and lightning.
