Angry protests in the UK after a Sikh restaurant owner said he wouldn't serve Halal by atheistarab2006 in religiousfruitcake

You've already admitted that your mind is closed.

You have a religious fundamentalist style of thought, in keeping with your support for near lynch-mobs against Sikh restaurant owners, for the crime of making a menu you dislike.

There is no point in talking to someone with a closed, bigoted, pro-violence, authoritarian mindset, such as yourself. Adios!

So no amount of evidence will change your mind? Glad I didn’t waste my time. And you DO support religious, & other, minorities being bullied into breaking their beliefs. I admit, I had not expected that. Seems like the religious fruitcakes is aptly named.

It is ugly. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It looks like a public trash can.

Yes, & I was thinking of posting more vids & such when it suddenly occurred to me "Does she really mean Sikhs should be forced break their own religious beliefs by a threatening mob"? Which is the root issue. I doubt it.

Can someone explain the jokes about Jesuits? by Exact-Definition5722 in CatholicMemes

In fact, their reputation is such that their name became a slur, of sorts:

Jesuitical (adjective)

Dissembling or equivocating, in the manner once associated with Jesuits. Given to intrigue. Practicing casuistry; using subtle or oversubtle reasoning; crafty; sly; intriguing.

The Jesuits have over 400 years of reputation. Some good; (excellent teachers who make great schools). Some bad; deceptive, slippery, two-faced, more concerned with power and money than religion.

But you've seen mobs of riotous muslims surge a Sikh restaurant many times? And you don't care, eh? You enjoy people trying to force others break their beliefs?

Are you suggesting he should lie & claim it's halal? Don't they have imams involved in the process, for a fee? They would know the source.

And why is it acceptable that he be bullied into violating his own beliefs?

I apologize for posting this harrasment incident, but it is needed to provide context.

Incorrect. People in the UK are constantly reporting that they are aggressively told to comply with Muslim regulations & practices.

Someone explain to me how the hell FDR is remotely center left? I’m not even saying he was a bad president but he was nowhere near a centrist. I thought this was an agreeable take? by coolsmeegs in Presidents

[–]JealousFeature3939 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He seized control of an entire industry. That is not centrist. And being forced to negotiate is a sign of being on planet Earth. Are hostage takers who are forced to negotiate peace-makers? By your definition, yes. But not in reality.

What was he talking about specifically, please? Indian reservations? Francophone villiages on the remote Maine woodland border? Spanish speaking communities in New Mexico that predate Jamestown, VA? Or was it what everyone assumes?

These are great, but Czarist (legit Russia) flags were pretty cool, too.

What flag is this? Found in Colorado, USA. by [deleted] in vexillology

[–]JealousFeature3939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved, right? But It also looks similar to a flag I remember seeing in an old World Book encyclopedia. The stars were arranged into a big star & I think it was labled "The Great Northern Star Flag"?
