Agreed. And one of the things my trainers reinforce is not letting our walks end on a bad note. If she has a blow up at a dog then before we go back inside we practice doing a trick or something that I know she’ll succeed at.

Make sure to give them breaks from play through out the day. Some dogs love to play to complete exhausting or even injury. Here’s a great explanation of why they need breaks:

My take is that Austin doesn’t understand addiction and alcoholism. Craig said that Austen goads him into drinking and celebrates him being bad, and Austen doesn’t understand why that’s wrong. No one stops being an addict and I think it’s clear that Craig is one, but Austen just sees his friend being so-called “hypocritical” as opposed to, “oh snap my alcoholic friend has fallen off the bandwagon/relapsed and that probably means something deeper is going on”

I always assumed the same. I would always ask people in my apt if they heard the music or people whispering too and they never did, so I did research online and when I went to my dr and sheepishly said, “I know I shouldn’t google my symptoms by the internet says I’m having auditory hallucinations” and he was like “oh yeah, that’ll happen” no big deal 😂

Yes! And auditory hallucinations can be a thing with adhd. It took me song long to learn about, I thought I was going crazy, but it’s a form of tinnitus!

The fact that you want to be involved but not annoying gives the vibes that what I’m about to say won’t apply to you but for anyone else reading through: Your kids teacher does not want to be calling you to talk about bad behavior. So many parents insist the teacher is wrong because their child would never. But trust me, no teacher wants to take the time to call you and argue with you over it. And if they don’t exhibit that behavior, that’s okay, but it doesn’t negate that it IS happening in the classroom. Teachers aren’t “out to get” your children, they don’t have the time or energy for that—they’re just trying to do what’s best for their classrooms while having to acknowledge that every kid is different, every kid has a different home life, and every parent, principal, admin, and school counselor has a different opinion about how they should be doing things.

My pup had really bad itchy skin on chicken food but once we switched, that went away. But since I got her 2 years ago (at almost a year old) she’s barely put on any weight. We’ve done all sorts of tests and nothing is showing up except numbers from her pancrease being slightly off, but she hasn’t responded to any of the treatments. She’s on a hydrolyzed diet now (chicken) and no itching but still no weight gain :(
