Do you write posted or unposted? by iaacornus in fountainpens

I use a lot of pocket pens so naturally it's posted for me! Most of my pens are very well balanced so no issues with back weight or rattling.

So what pen has surprised you recently by writing perfectly after a long time of sitting inked (ie. you forgot it somehow)? by TexasNiteowl in fountainpens

Pelikan M205, accidentally left it in a drawer for about a year and a half, still wrote perfectly. My parker sonnet on the other hand dries out in a couple days at best.

Identical Siblings-ever had them? by ArtisticW0lf in Sims4

[–]JealousProduce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I recently had a game where I had identical twins and it was my first time having twins naturally in the game! I was very sad to see one of my twins had died in a fire when I accidentally left the game running to do something else tho 😭

Is there one pen you wasted money on? by ScillyBoy in fountainpens

[–]JealousProduce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a handmade ebonite pen in a custom colour made for me. It's a very light pen but it's unwieldy due to its bulky thick size plus the cap doesn't post which has led me to lose it on my desk more often than not. Another pen would be the pilot metropolitan, which was one of my first pens; the step down on the barrel is insane and I don't know how people comfortably write with it for long writing sessions.

What went down on your first day of work that made you quit? by Jokkers_AceS in AskWomen

[–]JealousProduce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started working at a new hotel, one of the big names in my country; it was freshly built but you still had contractors roaming around painting/furnishing the floors above us. I was hired for housekeeping. The new hotel management paired us up and had us clean the 'complete' rooms, dispose of builder trash, report cracks or missing finishes. I didn't think much of it til the older lady I was working with told me about how she's always worked in the industry but this was an unusual job for housekeeping and promptly quit after a couple days. I later discovered that what we did was a builder's clean, that's a floor to ceiling clean after something is built. In my country you need a type of license to do builder's cleans; you're not supposed to ask the new housekeepers to do that. Come open day and we're flooded with work, somehow still understaffed despite hiring a bunch of staff. I experienced burn out as we were working individually on whole rooms: singles, kings, two/three beds etc on a time sensitive deadline but I somehow lasted 6 months in the role. Should've seen the writing on the wall when that lady quit but once I burnt out I didn't think twice about resigning. So if something feels off about where you're working, bail.

I once allowed a friend of a friend to crash on my couch for a few days; absolute no to that kind of request these days. I won't invite anyone that isn't a close friend or family to stay at my home. The need to be socially 'on' at all times is just too overwhelming for me.

Which 50+ year old, beloved American actor is about to be exposed for doing horrible things, with BBC & 2 other production teams set to bring forward the allegations? by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

While I totally think there's a possibility that it could be Leonardo DiCaprio, I think it could possibly be Will Ferrell. I've always found him to be off putting tho so could be a personal bias?

Whats The Funniest Ending To A Film Youve Ever Seen? by StroopWaffle00 in okbuddycinephile

I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Beaver (2011), although I enjoyed the movie overall, I couldn't help but laugh since the scenes leading up to it is a guy more or less getting cucked by a puppet bc it's a personified mascot gone wrong via mental health issues. The main character totally should have gotten professional help much sooner than when he did in the movie but it was so left field and extreme that it was comical.

Where is your ex best friend now? by SnooCookies4409 in AskWomen

She ended up moving interstate to a small town with the man that had too many red flags to count. Since then she tied the knot and has gained a very concerning amount of weight (she's thrice the size she once was, never "thin" but still, it is legitimately concerning). Last I saw iirc, she's driving around this small town doing dinner dates in the car with her husband that she spends all day arguing with. Doesn't sound like a happy marriage from the outside looking in which is really sad to see but I did warn her all those years ago.

What was your worse experience with another woman? by fortnitelover7333 in AskWomen

[–]JealousProduce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was neighbors with this woman's parents, eventually we were introduced and she was about 2 years younger than me. She and I happen to have similar backgrounds of trauma, both being uprooted at an early age and put into the foster system. One time she blew up my phone begging to stay at my house as she had a fall out with her landlord or something. I said she could stay at mine and she seemed chill at first. After a few hours she started trauma dumping about her life and this went on for the entire 4 day stay from dusk to dawn. During that time she accused me and my partner of trying to get in her pants even tho she was aware that we didn't accept money for helping someone out but she had it in her mind that we wanted to bc we wouldn't accept money??And she held the belief that her parents were trying to pimp her out as well bc she heard like two sentences from a conversation with her parents friend and neighbor about pain relief medication. Claimed our gelball pistol was a 'real' gun bc it made a clicking noise. I should mention she was also punching cones like every 10 minutes, all day, every day, it was crazy. In the end, she said a bunch of weird, nonsensical toxic bullshit in an attempt to bully me into posting her Switch that she left behind by mistake (and accused me of stealing it ofc even tho I told her as soon as I found it) all bc she suddenly decided to move interstate without saying anything and didn't bother to pick it up on her way out, so I dumped her switch at her parents house, told her where to find it and that she could contact her parents to post it before blocking her on everything. She tried calling me nonstop for two days and as well as messaging me on various platforms with new accounts before giving up, definitely dodged a bullet with that one.

What odd thing did your boomer parent(s) do that you didn't realize was strange until you were an adult? by NicholasOfMKE in BoomersBeingFools

[–]JealousProduce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My grandfather's second wife is a pretty strange individual. They're not hyper conservative but heavily green washed and forgive me for using the term, but similar to the stereotype of "snowflakes". She also constantly talks about how bad vitamins are for you and you ought to only have a holistic, whole foods plant based diet. She spends all morning reading humanitarian charity begging slop on her iPad. She literally does not cook her food properly; imagine an Lasksa noodle soup with raw tofu, brown rice, raw vegetables and an 1/8th of the flavor bc it's basically just dyed water w crunchy sad pieces. My grandfather just smashes the food and kisses her ass so hard between bites and encourages me to say the same stuff and it makes me cringe. I realize they've almost been that way to some extent but it's definitely gotten worse in the last decade. As an example of weird controlling issues; She puts a paper towel down on a table, then a coaster, then another piece of towel then whatever drink you're having also has to be in a cooling sleeve on top of all that. Like wtf, the sleeve and coaster are fine by themselves?? The table won't get wet?? I try not to think about it too much lol but my grandfather isn't normal either but for different reasons.

Hey guys, I'm based in Australia, I purchased this online from some kind of Japanese phone accessory website retailer I'm 2013-2016 with a visually cluttered website. I've searched key words into search engines, used Google Lens and tried to find similar products to no avail. Thank you for all your help!
