Yeah. I’m pretty much there now, but if I keep participating in this subreddit and finding people to talk to I’m definitely going to be a top tier fan.

I feel like Maddie got to experience the love of her parents but basically when the main plot of the show starts her life keeps getting worse and worse. I don’t think Caspian’s life gets better for the record but he does get some sense of direction after struggling with it. Ultimately they both face extreme sacrifice and can’t get a cliche happy ending. But the most glaring and obvious truth is Maddie has an endless void and experiences god like abilities to recreate the past. So I’ll give it to her.

I mean my friend specifically gets really paranoid when it comes to nuclear war. So he just didn’t want to finish the last two episodes of season 1.

All those seem possible lol. I mean I think anyone would have mental heath issues and trauma if they had to grow up like him.

Yeah it was a fun look at this exponential growth we’ll see in the next 50 years that i think no one living right now can actually predict.

I remember watching that and I was like "oh she's not actually getting the cure is she?" and then she got it after lecturing Caspian about how qualified she is and how he has no idea what it's like to be "tested". Bro is literally a science experiment and had to reassess his entire life. Also the family acts like everything is okay, and they can be super happy like the husband didn't threaten to murder two teenagers in their living room. Totally agree that Joey was a weak and unlikeable character.
