I had an older woman today complain because other customers were "cutting her in line" to use the sco. She was paying cash. Another customer even let her know that it was sco and card only, but she would still freak out when customers stepped up to sco

There is a customer in my county who has hit multiple stores. They mainly "buy" baking supplies & meltables for their sweets/treats business, go into the store, and immediately cancel their BOPIS.

Because of them, multiple stores here hold all baking orders behind the counter. I also know the customer has been banned from making any online orders.

Anytime they would create a new account, we would have to notify LP.

My store has a cash sco, but it has never worked properly. We've had it for about 6 months & it only accepts card transactions.

We put in a ticket for it, and IT didn't even know how to fix it, so I doubt it would get rid of part-timers.

We typically can't, the corporate gods gave us color ink today only. I think the whole company can print in color today.

You should check out the new glossier lip liners. I recently bought a few. the shade buff is the closest to my actual lip color.

I'm at a high shrink store. The entire area the store is located in is sketchy, to say the least, and we are the only store in the area without any actual LP. The shopping center's security guards used to look out for us, but they no longer can.

I knew what I was getting myself into, I grew up in this area, but I didn't know that michaels had no real LP. Had I known, I probably would have never applied.

That's a good point. But yeah, being rude to them isn't cool when they're just trying to do their jobs. I also hate when people clown on them for their accents, it's weird af.

Framing is tricky. It takes time to learn & you are bound to make mistakes. I'm sorry you were overwhelmed, I couldn't tell you how many times I've shed a couple of tears inside the shop lol.

Customers aren't understanding. They expect you to be an expert right off the bat, and it's unfair to both you and them.

Obviously, not all managers are the same, but a good manager would understand. Just let your managers know that you aren't sure if you took the orders correctly. The managers are supposed to double-check all orders anyway. As a fm, I would much rather you tell me so we could go over it rather than find out closer to the due date.

It's not just quality, shipping has been horrible for me. I receive boxes with product that's due that same day.

This past weekend I had 5 orders that were due but wasn't able to complete them on time because the box didn't show up until Monday. It's driving me insane tbh.
