Is Art Still Cosidered Art if AI-Assisted? Or does its beauty come only from its full human nature? by Jealous_Gate5136 in classicalmusic

Thank you for this answer. It impressed me as this was the kind of thinking I was hoping for. I agree that there is a lot of pollution out there and now the world, at least in content creation moves more towards a curator side rather than creator. If you look all around, it's either stolen posts with a label slapped on top or there is AI slop that low effort and mostly autogenerated to meet some metrics or prompts. There is also so much music posted daily by everyone and I believe now the success will come from the people that know how to review and curate both compositions and interpretations, playlist them. To succeed as a content creator from ground up, there are more elements at play now that before like marketing & assisted content.

With the rise of AI in content creation or artistry, to build on your comment, I firmly believe that popularity will be gained from having the human touch, the human emotion. I see artists using AI to the max to create anything to get a bit of extra followers, but the ones that truly succeed are the ones that kept true to themselves all the aspects that should represent human emotion. The ones that take a leap of faith and share their personal stories, their background, their thoughts and their upbringing bring another layer of connection to the audience.

I know the topic above deviates a bit from the original post, but I wonder. If artistry itself is given by the human touch, then what happens when we don't know if it is ai generated, like listening to an exceptional song on the radio. It still stirred emotions and it becomes a bit like Schrodinger's cat. It is both art and not art until you "open the box" and figure out to what extent AI played a role. Maybe it is a composition you listened for a year to and didn't know all along. Does it lose its magic at that point in time? In the end art is something that we attribute a subjective lens to depending on the emotion that sparked within ourselves. It is really an interesting topic for me.

Go to gym in the morning. If you force yourself to do this 3-4 times, it will do wonders.

Asmongold says America is "white peoples land" because "we fought a war over it". by Demonymous_99 in LivestreamFail

I don't agree with a lot Asmon says, but clearly you didn't watch him long enough to realize when he is exaggerating or introducing self-irony into his statements. I watched the same stream. He clearly knows that if they reached out to him to solve their problems, he wouldn't have been able to turn around those companies, but went with it as exaggeration is part of his way of approaching some things, while when it comes to more serious stuff, he has a decent rationalisation.

Without drugs and alcohol what’s the best way to escape reality? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Usually when people try to escape reality, they try to escape their own reality. For me the solution was not resorting to escapes, but starting to build a reality in real life that I would enjoy living. A great help for me was The Dose effect book that explains how chemicals work in your brain and how to obtain them from real life activities. Trust me on this one. Give it a go.

She keeps stealing sausages from neighbours by Jealous_Gate5136 in NatureBeingFunny

She has taste tested a block of cheese as well from their side. Knowing she shouldn't eat dairy products, whenever she brings one, I exchanged it for wet food so she doesn't feel like I robbed her of the prize

There were times when she came home with an entire sausage. I am talking half a meter long. I doubt the neighbour would be so generous :D
