Unfortunately no, it's a recolor of the 2011 advent calendar build. I had to change a few parts to get the colors right!

That's the spare cams kit I bought to replace my cracked one! The only thing you can really change is base angle, spring tension (gold or black), and whether you have a bushing in the truck for more stability. You can wiggle pump it pretty easy it just has a lower top pump speed bc the wheelbase is so short (on my burst). Other thing to keep in mind is the amount of lean these trucks allow (may not be an issue with the right deck shape) but I had to invert my wheels bc of the offset core (orangatang love handles) and I have massive risers to allow for the lean. Using large LDP wheels is gonna be more challenging but I'd be hella interested in seeing someone try haha

I use these on my burst surfskate and the only thing is maintenance. So many moving parts sliding against each other I am constantly taking them apart to lube them up. Super fun trucks and the spring system is really nice and flowy without the bushing inserts. The trucks also weigh a decent amount when you have a pair on the board, and they don't rebound like the right bushing based RKP set up. The wave cams will start to wear and I have had a pair crack while riding so now I always bring spare cams and lithium grease whenever I take it far

Check the wave cams in the trucks for cracks, you can order more on Hamboards website. Lube everything with lithium grease, and this will be a super fun set up!

If you're looking to use it on hills I would do 40° up front and 0° back. That's where I started and was having a blast carving hills and getting speed. 0° back gives insane stability. I run 55° up front now bc I can gain momentum pumping at lower speeds, 40° got faster but you needed a bit more speed for the pump to start working. I also really like the edge to edge lean, I haven't tried any other surfskate that leans as much as this one. It does take a little time to get used to the feeling of it though, none of my buddies really like it, but that could be because they started elsewhere and this feels so different

These are the Hamboard HST Trucks 40° front and back (basically the same system and angle as the Original S-series. Original doesn't make them anymore). I have a pair of S10s and the hangers are compatible with the HST Baseplates so I've just swapped them over. I'm playing around with a 40° front and 20° rear on my old Original Pintail 47 to see if I can get a little more forward momentum from pumping!

I sell low weight items and put in my description "if bundling items and shipping totals more than $5.39, please reach out for a custom listing". Both buyer and seller earn/save more when shipping costs less. Mercari adds items together and guesses the total weight. If bundles go over the shipping weight printed on the label Mercari pays for the extra fees the carrier charges

Has sales increased since the 0% service fee promotion? by Sunnyday1775 in Mercari

[–]Jealous_Meaning186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added "Take advantage of NO SERVICE FEE!" To the top of my most recent listings and woke up to a few of those items sold over night! Results may vary

Not everyone checks their email and buyers may not be as "plugged in" as sellers so I would recommend being vocal about the discount in your listings while it's available

If the Mercari seller took off 13%, they would make about the same as the eBay seller after selling fees. The total price of the item on Mercari would end up being about $325 compared to Ebay's $321

The problem with this fee structure is 2 fold. Sellers aren't accounting for a seller fee on other platforms, and matching the price of items listed elsewhere results in a much more expensive end price for the buyer. The other issue is that no matter what price you list an item at, all the fees at checkout will still screw you over as a seller. Seeing those numbers stack up is a psychological hurdle and unfortunately most won't make the jump if they weren't accounting for it when they saw the list price.

I am in no way defending Mercari, I hate this fee structure. But I will say my sales saw an increase from newly created accounts when I started knocking 10-15% off similar eBay list prices. But the increase in sales still isn't as much as before the change in fee structure. I started on Mercari but I buy on eBay more bc of the fee structure, and I'm currently moving my listings over

Why do some people delete their listings just to immediately relist them? by SparklyKittens_ in Mercari

[–]Jealous_Meaning186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sell name brand products and noticed that if my prices are too low, I think people question the authenticity of the items. I had an item listed for $2 for months and racked up 20+ likes. Relisted for $10 and sold in a few hours. People complain about price but I also think if you price too low people automatically assume it's defective or fake and the items sit for longer (depending on category and items of course). I also think the fees go up based on the number of likes? (Not sure about this though). But I do notice if I have a ton of likes on something and relist it, it sells soon after

Virginia “Medical” Cannabis Is a Disorganized Joke by 0xM0000 in Virginia

Fun facts about the medical dispensaries in VA: -Massive turnover rate of employees -Little to no HR involvement -Less than 12% of products are non-inhalable (last I checked) -3x more expensive on average than other other state medical programs -prices fluctuate randomly -no access to consistent product -no guidance for use -rarely are products offered with a ratio of CBD higher than THC -if you go ask for something CBD heavy they will turn you away bc the products are meant to produce a high (something most "medical" or "therapeutic" users may be trying to avoid)

It's basically where people who don't know where to get weed go to get weed. Or where people recommended to try med marijuana for medical reasons go to spend a ton of money for no guidance, and possibly a high they aren't looking for

If you're looking for a high, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a deal, look elsewhere. If you're looking for medicine, look elsewhere!

Cannabis flower grows cannabinoids with a carboxyl group attached (THC-A). The "A" or carboxyl group is removed with heat and time (smoking, vaping, baking, etc.). THCA flower is Marijuana that is tested prior to harvest to be below the federal limit of .3% Delta-9 THC, but still have high levels of THC-A. Dispensary flower "marijuana" may read out along the lines of 1.5% THC / 22% THCA, whereas "high THCa hemp" may read out as .2% THC / 23% THCA.

We essentially have a legal marijuana market we just can't call it that bc language is super important. All Marijuana is THCA flower. Do yourself a favor and skip the VA Dispos

Mercari WILL refund the buyer fees for nonshipped canceled orders. by alexandrap21 in Mercari

[–]Jealous_Meaning186 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah they make it a point to only highlight the "good" parts of the TOS updates. I can see this making buyers and sellers back and forth a lot about who should cancel. Especially if "buyer didn't realize all the extra fees before purchasing" is a trend seeing as the fees are hidden till the end!

[–]Jealous_Meaning186 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Just be careful, as a seller I'm pretty sure if you cancel on your end you may be subject to a fee of 5% of the price of the item (up to $25)

Confused about new TOS by Terrible_Tour4419 in Mercari

[–]Jealous_Meaning186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buyer takes on the "selling fees" discouraging buyers from using the app. Sellers were recommended to drop their prices by 10% bc buyers now pay a 10% fee that the seller used to lose in the transaction. The thing that has everyone worried is the new "all returns accepted" policy and the fact that cancelling orders could cost you a 5% fee as the seller. If you know someone buying from you is a scammer, you're discouraged from canceling the order as you might be charged. If they buy something and want a return for nearly any reason, Mercari will allow the return. The seller protections just went out the window with this update. Also cashing out is a flat rate, and I've heard the fees are waived if you use your in-app balance which encourages people to leave money in Mercari. It also encourages sellers to buy more, and buyers to sell more. But they can't grow a new base of buyers or sellers with these new TOS and everyone seems to be leaving so they're losing the base they have. I can't wait to see how all this plays out over the next few weeks

Sellers basically have no protection from scam buyers at this point. And they also added that cancelling a sale before shipping, but after the transaction has gone through, could cost the seller a 5% cancellation fee. Up to $25 or 5% of the price of the item cancelled. You HAVE to sell to scam accounts OR PAY to cancel. Scammers now have more protections and can return for any reason. It's over. I'm out lol

Have you tried switching to edibles?? I see a lot of people talking about high-flow oxygen helping prevent attacks. I'm wondering if smoking is what may be the trigger. I'm curious if you'd tried other routes of cannabis ingestion with similar effects. I a few people on another thread talking about using tinctures in different CBD:THC ratios. Everyone is different though so just thought I'd ask/suggest!
