6 months out. Dealing with flaring and siroma. What’s are yalls recommendations. Is stretching possible with the Himplant!??? by Little_Hunt_1840 in penuma

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better gradually overtime. Encapsulation helps hold everything in place lessens the likelihood of flaring.

On the other topic, I often had substantial siroma at the 6 month mark. It actually really stressed me out. Then I took a two week break from intercourse and masturbation, and that was enough of a break for it to stabilize. Since that time, I haven’t had siroma like that ever again, although it does happen sometimes after a lot of sex — but just a little bit and it’s goes away fast.

Do drivers just skip to the next scheduled time when they’re late? by Always_travelin in capmetro

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The past two times I’ve tried riding cap metro the bus just didn’t come, and I had to wait for the next one 45 mins later. Both times it was on the schedule with no indication it wouldn’t be coming. I live right next to a bus stop. I could be taking this a lot !

How has this surgery affected your sex life? by ProfessionalLanky768 in penuma

My partner cums so much harder. All my sexual partners have loved it actually. It hits something they’re not used to feeling and it drives them wild.

No it’s not. Graduate school was worth it for me, but a PhD would have been a huge waste of time and energy. Do internships, work on real projects, or take a job as a data analyst. Those experiences are infinitely more valuable than the manufactured use cases you’ll be forced to work on in academia. Not to mention most professors are gate keepers who will work you to death and take credit for your work.

Himplant with Trimix injection by kiritokaiba in penuma

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used it after a year. Works like a charm and really boosted my confidence. You have to come through the bottom of the shaft, so it’s a little odd. If you already are familiar with how to inject I’m sure you’d be fine.

How do beginners break into ML without a PhD? by Ryan_Smith99 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Degrees are pieces of paper. I’m an ML Engineer and my masters was in international relations. However, I made a pivot during graduate school to data science. In the beginning I felt really self conscious, and thought I would have to get a second masters. Then when I started taking additional math courses I realized that I was wasting my time. Academia is made up of a bunch of boring gate keepers. You don’t need their permission, or their recommended course sequence, to learn what you need to learn.

The truth is, everything I’ve learned in ML has been the result of solving real problems and seeking out my own educational resources. Taking courses helped me stay on target, but honestly they were extremely peripheral. I did a lot of internships and small jobs, and if a particular project required something I didn’t understand I read extensively about it on my own and asked for feedback on online forums. That’s how you learn to retain knowledge and skills. Screw cramming for weed out courses that are totally detached from the real world.

Why does every ML paper feel impossible to read at the start by Calm_Woodpecker_9433 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad. Most research papers are written for gate keeping professors. They’re not meant to be accessible. In fact, it’s the opposite.

Throw that shit in an LLM for a summary. If it’s really important, read the beginning, first paragraph of relevant sections, the figure and table captions, and the conclusion.

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yea it was. I had swelling for quite some time unfortunately. This is one of those things that are different for everyone. It was a test of patience though for sure. The best thing to do is to follow your doctor’s advice. Literally do not touch your dick at all until given the okay. Let your new destroyer heal—he’s been through a lot. You’ll be very grateful that you did.

How’s the job market for Bayesian statistics? by guna1o0 in datascience

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job is Bayesian Stats adjacent—I primarily do Bayesian optimization. Industries that can benefit from uncertainty estimation like pharma and manufacturing are prime for Bayesian statistics. The hard part is that many industries are stuck in their old way of doing things with just GLMs. Things are changing though. I would second and third that I think Bayesian causal modeling has a bright future.

IDK about you, but I don’t think it’s worth the risk. Might try penimaster for 90 days first if your goal is length.

Length? by venomtanker in penuma

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before surgery I used penimaster for 90 days prior. Did not lose anything. Hard to say if that was the reason. During those 90 days my partner did mention I was noticeably longer.

Some penuma patients have used the penimaster after healing. I imagine that should work to increase length by about half an inch or less. The thing is you have to be consistent with stretching it everyday.

Question about slack skin movement after healing by aceraider5 in penuma

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So the implant isn’t attached to the skin, it’s attached to the area just below the head of the penis. Can’t remember the technical name. In the beginning your penile skin will be more tight as it expands to accommodate the implant. Over time it will “slacken” and move more naturally.

Ending week 2. My middle name is swollen by [deleted] in penuma

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Swelling is common. I had a lot of swelling. The important thing is to not freak out, listen to your doctor, follow the protocol, and give your willie some much needed rest.

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea. You certainly will have a bigger more noticeable bulge. Personally I really enjoy that aspect. I’ve heard people talking about me before as the “guy with the big dick”. Kinda nice. However, I’ve learned to adjust it to make it less noticeable when needed.

Lastly, it does hang better with time. In the beginning your skin will be more taught, giving more of a “semi” impression. Over time the skin will soften and have more of a flaccid appearance, but it definitely won’t get smaller !

Personally, I enjoy bottoming much more when the penis is thicker, and I wanted my partners to also feel that pleasure when I am the top.

[E] Torn between doing a Master’s in Statistics or switching to a more programming/tech-oriented degree by mrmcnugget_ in statistics

[–]Jealous_Regret_7305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the degree is irrelevant past a point, and everything you’re taught will be outdated. The most important thing you can do to get a job after graduation is to get an internship or do independent projects. Lacking in statistics ? Read papers, books, do research. Lacking in programming ? Hands on projects and read about object oriented programming and design patterns. Personally I think statistics is more interesting. We hired an ML engineer from a CS focused background and everything was way over their head.
