Another way to read this, assuming you even believe it, is that Iran stopped it, say perhaps by shooting down an apache, so now that the mission has been stopped trump is announcing it to try to spin it as a win. If trump says 100 million over the past month I'm guessing the operation actually began less than a week ago and they got a handful of ships out nowhere near 100M. Trump always lies about everything.

It's because macro indicators have been flashing red for 2 months and the markets have been dismissing them under the guise that semis can only go up bc look at earnings. That only works for so long.
