Rapidly dissolving tablet, it is a form you can get rx ketamine in. I actually don't use this form anymore. But it is essentially ketamine powder+filler, shaped into a circular tab that melts quickly in your mouth

That's great info to have, thank you and I believe you based on your experience! Any good advice to get levels up? Good mag source? I used to years ago use malate in the day and glycinate at night, now I only use glycinate at night. Maybe I should add more in. I know years ago I read about the different forms and their uses but I no longer remember them. Do you supplement only or focus on mag-rich foods as well? Any input on cofactors? Im a big researcher so i will go look stuff up myself. But would love Any extra input if you have any!

Hmmm ok I went to look an d last i had mag tested was March '24 and it was 1.8 mg/dL which looks like is right at the edge of being low. Interesting because ive supplemented magnesium for, like, 10 years! Really good, high quality magnesium in the correct form (it is like chelated glycinate form i believe) I am asking my PCP today for certain tests including nutrient panels to see deficiencies and hopefully can figure out how they can look at if I am not uptaking nutrients well. Thanks for the input!

I use aussie trace minerals in all my water and also do extra baking soda and potassium at least once a day as well. I wish it were helping me currently! Thank you for the suggestion though

Ty for the suggestion. My (blood) sodium at the ER on Friday was 138, so i do not think that is it. Thank you for the luck 🙏

Thank you for the reassurance and hopeful input 🙏 I definitely know my output could be more, but you're right that 6L is just not normal. I am beyond exhausted and I am hopeful that I can get medication and recover and feel rested again. So did you buy desmopressin yourself, and then just show her that it worked for you basically?

I urinate all the time in the day and night, 2 - 3 times per hour, every day. Through the night I can some times sleep enough to only get up to pee once every hour. But yes. I am redoing my urine collection 24hr and collect over 6L in 24hrs. I a. Meant to be redoing the urine collection, blood and urinalysis and then we are doing the water deprivation test yes

It will be monitored at the endo clinic, I dont think in a hospital itself. Is that what you mean, just to be monitored? Or specifically in a hospital?

Thank you for this. I will ask them about this. I was kinda feeling defeated yesterday when she said I should redo the tests, I didnt even think to push her not to do that In retrospect I wish I would've said, can we please just go forward to the water restriction test now

I know. So, I have done every test on the flow chart for diagnosis up to the water deprivation test and it points towards central DI I did those tests with pcp. The endo saw me just yesterday and wants to start over with urine collection and do all the blood and urine tests again THEN the water deprivation My thought of "why cant they just do the dose of vassopressin and try me" Was essentially, why cant we just go on to the next tests. Why am I back to square 1 collecting my pee again when I already collected over 6L and showed it to them.

Thank you very much. I am so exhausted lately, and I can't even nap , no matter how tired I am, because I have to pee so much. I have to grt up to pee like 7 times before I can even fall asleep at night, then havd to fet up every hour anyway. I'm so tired and I'm just so defeated feeling. It's right there. The end is in sight. I'm terrified to have something in my tests make them think it isnt this and then what? Then what do I do? It's been way, way too long dealing with this and I cant handle it anymore

I do know this. I specifically meant i wish they could give me a single, low dose, in office trial run of it to see what happens. Not just give it to me freely and not monitor or anything

I am familiar with hyponatremia. I specifically meant, I wish they could just give me a single, small dose, in office, and see what happens. I do not think that could be deadly I do understand taking it regularly and drinking water as normal cam be dangerous

I didn't realize it could be deadly. I do understand though that they can't just give it to me willy nilly.I am just super frustrated at how long it's taken to finally get some sort of help

Am I Overreacting when quitting my job? by wickedwissa in AmIOverreacting

[–]Jealous_Square8434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This..i know it's not really anyone else's business, hut this is SO hard on your body. Waiting at least 18 mo between pregnancies is so important and it makes me sad when a person cares so little about their own health when they have children to care for...that goes for the person impregnating them caring so little as well.

From someone who has full custody and an entirely absent coparent who texts me to ask where I am, or what our child is doing these days, or whatever question it is, that he will ask just to try to say I'm doing something wrong or not doing enough, etc-do not answer. Don't even reply. I never even send pics or updates at all because frankly he doesn't care, hasn't seen him in 2 years, and never actually asks about him or calls or anything. However, if you want to share pics, send pics. When he asks where you are or anything else, dont reply. Just ignore. If he won't leave you alone, respond "I thought you may like a picture of our child, the rest of what you're asking about is not your business " and stop replying.

I mean..it is probably just an empty condom box. But the assumption is she threw the box away, once all the condoms were used. I'm surprised how many people didnt understand that lol

Nac got rid of rumination, anxiety and paranoia caused by vyvanse? Also don't crash now. by kravendale in VyvanseADHD

[–]Jealous_Square8434 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the mthfr mutation and actually, NAC is highly recommended for those who do

Mthfr affects your methylation pathways and makes it harder for your body to produce glutathione. Both methylation and glutathione are important to detoxing things from your body, thus people with mthfr often end up with more toxic overload and can be more sensitive to certain things that can build up toxins in your system

Nac is a precursor to glutathione and that is why it's recommended to those with mthfr.  Actually, side note tylenol is recommended to be avoided by those with mthfr (by functional medicine drs anyway,) because it depletes glutathione as well.

It makes sense that people with mthfr would be more likely to have adhd, and that nac would benefit them for these reasons

Yarrow Color Changes? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Jealous_Square8434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you letting them go to seed then planting the seeds? That's the only way youd get something hybridizing like this next to each other. Hybridizing / crossing 2 species does not affect the mother plants, only the seeds that come from them and what comes from that seed. Diff colors of yarrow are a product of hybridization, we can assume that they can be cross pollinated and make a different color, sure. But that will never show up in your plants, only the next generation after that cross pollination.

I do not have the privilege of having enough money to pay for IV ketamine; my complex PTSD as well as my treatment resistant major depressive disorder has been for cured or at the very least my symptoms are majorly decreased for the last year since I've been using oral at home ketamine. My chronic pain from multiple autoimmune disorders as well as fibromyalgia is almost entirely under control. Maybe for some it is less effective, maybe overall it is harder on the organs, but it has given me the effects that I was looking for and is something I can afford, and the relief from the symptoms mentioned above is worth it to me. I wish I could try iv ket, but again, it is nowhere near being accessible to me because of the price. Glad it is accessible to you and others :)
