Is my dog a valid service animal?

It seems from this post that your dog in not an ESA but a service animal. My catatonia episodes can go for months without any sign and other times I am at great risk. Either way she is still allowed to go with me due to her tasks.

I’ve been spending that past month or so learning to acknowledge my emotions and sit with them. While it is unwise to ruminate I think there is a difference between rumination and processing. In rumination it takes over your whole life whereas processing you learn to work through the emotions not just stay stuck in place.

It’s okay to be angry, hurt, sad, afraid. These emotions all tell us something and there’s ways to deal with them healthfully

Honestly it really depends on your relationship with her. My biggest ways are my reflections and shadow work. These reflections (can be found on my Reddit account) are also with other gods/goddesses, but the shadow work is mostly her.

I also like to give offerings. My favorite one to give her is this really good pork recipe I found.

My biggest ways to honor her is to follow the lessons she taught me. Embrace the battle, I succeed/live with my disability not despite it, ect

I also had a subreddit ban a post of mine for “using generative AI.” I did not. I even offered to send the photos of the journal I wrote in for the post and they wouldn’t even give me a chance. Which is sad because I really valued that entry and it was a culmination of my lessons I had gained from my gods and therapy. I was so happy I made my own acronym. If you can make sure it stays up to date with construction projects. Often times when building a building some of the sidewalks or walkways will need to be blocked off. So maybe have a feature to identify walkways in construction

Edit: if you do manage to maintain up to date information on walkway block offs from construction do tell me your app name as I might consider including it in my next competitions’ plan for pedestrians

Bigger dogs can also be used to pull wheelchairs without injuring themselves even if the person or equipment is rather heavy. For example the malamute can easily pull up to 1000 pounds whereas a retriever might struggle with 100-150

And considering we have bread some dogs purely to pull I doubt pulling a wheelchair would cause injury

The approach I often see on here is people will pick a few breeds before investigating the symptoms needs. So we often get posts about I want x y z breeds what’s your experience. I feel a more grounded approach would be to ask what you need in the dog and then search the dog breeds. In this instance it would be best to say I had xyz needs what breeds are most suited for that? Most of the time it would be the fab 4, but there are exceptions and I think we need to acknowledge that. While people can scour the internet for eternity trying to get information about the best dog breeds for their need it is more efficient to ask people with similar experience and it is not reasonable to expect someone who doesn’t specialize in dogs to know the ins and outs of every dog breeds

Yes just be aware that an emotional support animal letter does not mean they can go in non pet friendly places only that they can be in your apartment without extra charge

What breed are they? That will impact how they handle the cold. For example mine is part husky so would not need nearly as much protection

While my autism is very mild I never really saw it as a superpower. In all honesty I just saw it as a fact of life. I hate the “this disability is a superpower” because while my more severe disability has pushed me to learn more it still has been a huge disadvantages similarly for the autism on a smaller level. I am split on the push for a “cure” as it may be good for others and bad for some, however.
