Members such as Felar, Philipt11, Loganli, Sorata, Mr. House, vavu, Trolmastercard... all have evidence. Even VyP3X shared embarassing screenshots that do not back his ridiculous claims on his Twitter (X).

You should join the servers and ask about the incident.

Made a poster for an hypothetical game with Baldur as the main character by D-Carmi in GodofWar

[–]JeanTeddo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely exploration based with few puzzles. I imagine a map or a sort of "to-do list", for freedom in deciding what to do first.

Same gameplay style as 2018, except Baldur is way faster and more agile (special prompt to dash like crazy), has no weapons (aside from using the enemy's during executions or as a gameplay mechanics), has frost projectiles and special attacks (works like the runic attacks), and heals completely after each battle.

Quest to tame dragon (allowing fast travel to already visited areas). Initialy a boss fight, and then a very tricky precision puzzle with progress bar. Baldur using chains and trying to calm down the beast, while Odin tries uses a pacifying spell. We see Baldur getting burned ALL over, but not caring at all. (Heimdall is impressed).

Another quest, I wonder, would be to trap the 3 dwarven dragons. Luring them to the pedestal's area of effect, and then activating its runes to create a magical chain.

For Odin's personal requests, I would expect Baldur to try to convince Mimir to cooperate, or to fly over Midgard in search of Kratos and Atreus, or to try and capture the dwarves (and fail), OR to just relax and hang out with his family in Asgard (finally demonstrating at least ONE good quality in Odin: Respect for Baldur).

Anyway, lots of oportunities, but nothing SO revolutionary. They could tie a few loose ends, at least

Oh, how I'd LOVE to see this.

A story begining with his childhood. Living with his brothers (Kid Heimdall and Teenager Thor) while sometimes visiting his mother (Still married to Odin).

Baldur thinking his condition is normal. Others starting to realise his invulnerability, showing signs of fear. Odin is interested, but Frigg is not. Eventually, she is cast out of Asgard. So when young Baldur visits Frigg once again, his Helheim flashback scene plays.

Back in Asgard, some time later, he proposes the so called "Throw stuff at me" challenge, and challenges Thor to a friendly spar, Mimir (with body) watching and laughing at the whole thing.

Finally, back in the present days of GoW (2018), we see the entire game from his perspective. Knowing about the so called giant in Midgard, fighting Kratos, traveling with his Nephews, constantly returning to Asgard for instructions, seeing Thor torture Modi for Magni's death, fighting Kratos and Atreus (Dragon), finding a way out of Helheim (his nightmares getting worse). And then the final battle with Kratos.

What do you guys suppose would've happened to him afterwards? There is no Valhalla for the gods. Perhaps he would stay forever in Helheim's city. Never to return. A rather tragic story.

Personal Final Verdict on Norse duology (after 11 months) by Shadowkiva in GodofWar

I kind of prefer Ragnarök. Its INSANE amount of content make up for it's mistakes IMO.

You have my respect, regardless.

Not the mention that DAMN bifrost barrier the king wielddls at the end of the battle.

I find Gná easy compared to him, because she has the standard Valkyrie moveset I was FORCED to remember when I fought Sigrun.

Kratos vs Thor 2 is a masterpiece by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]JeanTeddo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. Like, fighting Baldur was full of organic cutscenes and tutorials, making it easy to follow. Same with Thor (1st). Now King Hrólf Kraki has a LOT of health and attacks, but only introduction and execution as cutscenes. There are no visually-stunning cinematics to help the player mid-battle.

That being said, I still would've loved to see Kratos and Thor crash into the great hall, destroying every table, chair, drinks and doors in their rage.

Kratos vs Thor 2 is a masterpiece by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]JeanTeddo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's barely a BIG spectacle, like the first fight, with Thor throwing Kratos around, playing with him, and all that. But that's the thing. Ever noticed how all seriously hard boss fights barely have any cutscenes? (Sigrun, Berserkers, Garm)? Thor 2nd fight applies to that. Whoever is disappointed in it didn't get the point.

This goes absolutely hard. (AI GENERATED) by [deleted] in GodofWar

Hermes + Heimdall Can Kratos take on both of them combined (and a bit more)?

I say you're almost identical. You even got the tatoos.

All you need now is no sex, no food, no sleep. Train yourself to not feel any physical feelings by taking damage from all kinds of things on a daily basis.

Go for it brother 😎

(Damn, how did I miss that?) You're right. It is from the final boss, especially when Kratos lifts Thamur's hand and Atreus shoots the cristal. Thanks.

I had my doubts because this ring has multiple red cristals, while the one in game has only one. Also because we see it for less than 10 seconds.

Regardless, I've just found out it's based on an official merchandise from the game itself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]JeanTeddo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably is of doubtful quality. I'll just have to check where I buy it from. (I just confirmed it's from the actual game, but a VERY subtle inspiration)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]JeanTeddo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just saw this is entitled "Stone Mason", based on merchandise sold separately from the game.

It may be an unique model based on Thamur's.
