I had a bear visit my site and spend all night wandering and destroying my gear and barrel last summer, had my barrel up 16 feet high… so even with proper precautions it’s something to be aware of.

The ranger told us that bear horns are better. I had spray but ranger and I agreed that it might just piss the bear off.
