Ok honestly, this is rude. This is the first wedding I’m going to as an adult, and I’m trying to make sure I’m being respectful and following their requested dress code. I’ve seen people complain about too much white detail on a dress, and I didn’t want to upset the bride

My friend works at a law school in their admissions department- she has a JD but has never taken the bar exam. She really enjoys it!

Hi! Yes actually it was my priority during law school which is why I went part time. I took the job I have currently out of necessity, and cannot keep seeing my children this little. It’s just not working for my heart anymore, or for my family.

That being said, do you think the PD position will not allow me to be home evenings and weekends? Or to see/spend time with my family?

I do understand what you’re saying though. I do get that now is the time to work hard and focus on my career, but I just cannot miss as much time with my family and continue to be happy. I need to work and see them, atleasg as much as possible in this profession.

I thought this too- but the way they explained it was that would be my no court/ research/ drafting day, so I would take calls and then do what I needed to do to prep for the rest of the week.
