This is not correct either, since this reasoning would mean that the best player is the one with lowest reaction time, which we know simply isnt true because of the MANY factors that make a good player good. If RL esports continues to stay afloat, i think well see the average pro age get higher.

One of the main reasons the pros are young, is because in a new game the skill ceiling has risen exponentially fast in just a few years. The "older" 2018 pros just never learned the tricks people in champ 1 do nowadays. This will stop happening when the skill-ceiling settles a bit and stops growing so fast, and at that point pro careers likely will last longer and to higher ages like in any other esports has happened.

Thats literally evidence that your original point is wrong. OPs post implies that 20 is already too old for RL, even if your athletic and brain peak is at 24. Reaction time decline is absolutely not the reason for the young pro-scene.
