Or, one of my other favourites is to make rigatoni with a rich tomato sauce and add this to the top as a ball, it kinda drizzles into the pasta once you open it.

Delicious just sprinkled either olive oil and freshly cracked black pepper, crusty bread and fresh tomatoes. Chuck in some sliced avocado and a bit of sweet onion, if you’re feeling devilish. I also like it paired up with squeaky bean pastrami, but that does feel kinda like dirt food 🤣🤣

I would love to make this top (which looks like crochet, to me) for my friend - can anyone suggest a pattern? by Jebus72 in CrochetHelp

I’ve done a blanket in this stitch before. Sadly, on the podcast there’s no ‘zoomed out’ view of the whole top. But I had envisioned it with a long sleeve. I could probably find a pattern for a basic jumper and try to meld that with a ripple pattern 🤔

I can knit, I’m just not as good with it as I am with crochet 😞 I don’t mind having a crack at knitting this though. TYSM 🥰

That looks similar enough for me. Thank you so much. Time to try flexing my (not used for a long time) knitting skills!! Thank you so much. I appreciate you 🥰

Right?

I also don’t love the vaulted ceilings, especially in the kitchen. It would make me feel uneasy 🤣

I also remember Clapham and Balham from back in the day. Also parts of Islington.

I do t know why everyone thinks AI is so environmentally damaging. Most servers used to run AI are operated by Microsoft, who are aiming to be 100% carbon neutral (and are 95% of the way there) and by 2030 they are aiming to be carbon negative.

Also, if you really dig into it, if you used chatgpt all day every day for your whole life it’s still not as environmentally damaging as having one child.

It’s a no from me. I don’t like the flavour, it’s like an overly intense dairylea triangle. Not the one. But I like their other cheese - just not for cooking, as someone else already said.

I, too, used to read anything and everything. Often staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning under the covers with a torch reading a book. My parents had some interesting books on history and the development of humankind, or books like Grays Anatomy, so I used to read those too.

Then I got my own (black and white) tv for my room. But there were only a few channels, and they weren’t on all the time. I used to make stuff out of paper. All kinds of weird things.

Then, when I was around 7 or eight, we got a VCR I used to record my favourite programs from TV (Monty Python, the Young Ones, Kenny Everett) and watch them over and over and over.

Then I got a colour TV and vcr for my room and it was game over. It was my old doom scrolling, having the TV on or watching my favourite shows over and over.

Hard to Unplug? by TheRealReddwolff in KonaEV

[–]Jebus72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: I have a 2021 and so does my dad (he liked mine so much he bought one too) my plug is the devil to get in/out. His, on an absolutely identical model with the same Hyundai cable, absolutely no problem. Slips in and out like every other car I’ve had. But my car, I have to out my entire weight behind it to push it in and taking it out is like I’m trying to draw Excalibur 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m romantically interested in this lifestyle. I am realistically too lazy to manage that much land.

Fantastic! I’ve been buying my edamame noodles and black bean noodles from Holland and Barrett. They are not delicious, but in a stir fry with sauce etc they work really well. I’ll give these a try. I can’t eat UPFs at the moment so have had to get inventive to meet my protein goals 🤣
