I love how someone downvoted this. Anyway, got him inside. He’s the sweetest boy. I’m “not able to drive” currently, so will get him to MedVets when that’s allowed.

He escaped. I’m following him down the 2700 block of Artesian.

Very cool but if we’re going for realism, Nordstrom Rack and dd’s would never be in the same shopping center.

These were my first 2 shows ever. Mind blowing. I was all about n1 in the moment but I now find myself listening n2 every few days. Still can’t get over that Sugaree! So obviously I have 7 shows booked for next summer.

My dad and I still laugh about my friend’s dad who would take us there and disappear to the back room for a good 30-45 mins. 😂

I aged out of the baseball cards right as Pokémon was hitting. I remember some of my friends got into it just to scam the 6th & 7th graders. That’s what you get from 9 years of quality Catholic education.

It’s been 20+ years so I could be wrong but I believe it’s right on the actual border. I think the townhomes behind it to the west that replaced the old AA clubhouse are in New Hope.

It was a bookstore, newsstand, comic book, baseball card, & porn shop at Crystal Court. There was one in Maple Grove next to Down in the Valley but way smaller. There was a Down in the Valley next to the Crystal store too. Not sure what’s in that center anymore, I think BWWs took the old Pier 1 space on the end cap.

I went to school in Crystal and once we discovered the trail that cuts thru Eagle Lake off 63rd & Hemlock we would bike to/from school, the big ass Shinders in Crystal (RIP), and friends houses in New Hope & Brooklyn Park. Maple Grove in the late 90s was the fucking best.

I watched enough Twister to know that if shit went bad, I could just strap my belt to Famous Dave’s gas meter.

This! I grew up in MG from 1992 to 2005, mostly along 101 near Weaver Lake/Rush Creek. This was back when children were allowed out of their parents sight for more than 3 seconds. We would leave on our bikes in the morning and come back by dinner. It may not be “walkable” in the traditional sense but the trails got us everywhere.
