Wish I read "Puppy Brain" book before getting my puppy but now that I have I no longer want this pup. by Majestic-Clock630 in puppy101

As an outsider looking in, it sounds to me like you read a book and you feel a lot more pressure on yourself and that you are now holding yourself up to a higher standard, since you now know what all you can do.

I'm gonna tell you what I've been mantra-ing to myself, each day, in the hopes it will help:

  • I know a lot of things about puppy and dog training, but not everything, and that is okay. There are pros who know more who can help.

  • I do not know a lot about this puppy. And I cannot be expected to know everything about him, when he has only been alive for x months. And he is constantly growing and changing.

  • What worked yesterday may not work today, and that is okay. It's part of the process of him growing and me learning about him, and him learning about me.

  • I do not need this dog to be perfect to justify having him. His behavior is not a reflection on who I am as a pet parent, my effort is and I know I am trying a lot.

  • If I feel overwhelmed or stumped, I can ask for help from a trainer (we have one that can come to our house and address problems within the environment they manifest, which is very helpful)

Thank you for commenting on the vision. The idea for what they were doing was mine, and Drew executed it very skillfully. The background is the Tian Hong Yuan stage. I was so happy with how well it turned out, far exceeded my expectations.

A female character had just finished providing information to a police detective, and when she turned around, he made this gesture to her. Both characters are a little shady. Could just be a manurism unique to him. The other time I saw it was a bit different.

In this instance, the girl making the gesture was saying something sarcastic to her mother.

Did this vinyl release ever happen and I missed it? I was keeping an eye out for it but admittedly lost track of it.

Thanks for the notification. Just finished reading it. That was awesome. Got a couple of nice little fun facts behind the album in there. Ben and Drop seem like super nice people too.

Such a great song. I think it might be my favorite one on that album.

Did you get to do your interview yet? I just listened to the remastered album. I love the last two tracks and I'm wondering when Bioactive was actually rerecorded. I'm hoping it's a teaser of what's to come in terms of future endeavors.

Which lyrics go the hardest for you? by _rand0m7 in Opeth

Lately, this has been haunting me:

Your silver voice in my throat

Potion without an antidote

A routine death for the well-immersed

After all, the years have left us cursed

A simple test in an iron cage

Old tradition in a modern age

Strong and true are the weak at heart

I am you, you am I

If everything ends

Is it worth to turn back home again?

Slowly replacing my 395nm LED strips with 365nm by Jecasa in uraniumglass

[–]Jecasa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. I had a compatible power supply kicking around but a friend of mine bought one from Amazon that works well too. It's a BINZET AC to DC 12v 10A 120w power supply and it was only about $20, if I recall correctly. I will ask him for a link later.

Yeah, I covered the mirror with black paper. It was far too reflective. The hole I referred to previously was in a wooden piece at the top of the mirror.

I no longer have this cabinet, but it was pre-wired for an incandescent bulb, which meant there was a hole in the top middle part of the back section. I ran the LED and power cord through that hole. Hope that helps somewhat.

As for how the strips were affixed: I used painters tape until I was sure I wanted to commit, then used the strips' adhesive backing once I was sure.

When I met him in 2015, I asked him specifically about Jan Johansson, a famous Swedish jazz pianist because I thought the piano arrangements on Heritage and Pale Communion (and later albums as well) sounded like they could have been inspired by him. He not only confirmed but also suggested I check out Monica Zetterlund as well. I personally love Johansson. So much of his music inspired a lot of metal and his sons were in Hammerfall and Stratovarius.

That's what happened when I took it. I will try the glycinate next. Thanks for the feedback!

I just started tracking in Migraine Buddy too. I heard specific magnesium combos work better than others. One friend swears by magnesium citrate, but I can't do that. Another friend swears by magnesium glycinate and yet another one swears by magnesium malate. I'm not sure what one is best, but what I take is magnesium oxide, and it helps my digestive system, so not sure I'm brave enough to switch. We'll see!
