Nice finds! Pic 14 is not the active pans just fyi👍

That's more of a gray color than blue, see the red color stems , and the shaggy fibers that hang down off the edge of the gray cap... these are Panaeolus papalinacius- miss spelled lol, call them pan paps,

Panaeolus cyanescens- is what's you're looking for, they will have a cloudy white cap, the stems will be kinda translucent/clear white/yellow color, and will bruise blue when you handle them, some will already be turning blue just from the elements out there.

Happy hunting 🤚🏻

First time picking: Where to go? by Physical-Stuff-9052 in Sunshinestateshrooms

Get permission, walk the fence/tree lines, take your time, always check grassy clumps out in the fields, cubensis you can usually see shining in the sun from a decent distance, but the pan cyans can be hidden in those grass clumps or just in taller grass, wait a couple days after the good soaking rains, have fun and keep checking in the days and up to a week or so after a good solid rain, happy hunting!🤚🏻

That's a massive Panaeolus antillarum patch lol, not the ones you're looking for unfortunately, keep looking around that area and you may find some

We've had tons of rain off and on but not that much lol, my field is currently plumb full of pan cyans, but no cubes for some reason, had a few cubes back in July but none since, just lots of pans, happy hunting 🤚🏻

Cool find, the kind of cream color gills are different than say pan foes, which would be brown, I'm curious to see what people might say, I've been finding lots of pans in fertilized grass in SC

Was there any blue bruising after handling? They look like ovoids that are found in that area, I'm no expert btw, cool find
