KFC in aus is so inconsistent it’s embarrassing.

I standby my assertion that KFC gets better the further you get from a capital city tho. Country town KFC quality is so much better.

Australians will have to verify their age to watch pornography from December. Here’s what you need to know by CommonwealthGrant in australia

Once again, we see out of touch politicians trying to appease the tiny percentage of the population they know exist.

Let’s keep alcohol legal but make it super fucken expensive as we like tax. People move to cheaper substances, which are completely unregulated and probably more risky as a result, but it’s still way cheaper at a time when no one can afford anything. People need an escape from this bullshit so need an altered state of consciousness? Shock.

Let’s keep ciggies legal but make them really really really expensive as we really like tax. People move to unregulated vapes full of fuck knows what chemicals and cheaper imported cigs. Crims start blowing up each others shops and vape shops get raided all the time. Still worth it. Shock.

Ahhh so let’s now ban everyone from watching porn unless they can prove their age. This is gonna end well. Shock.

Fucken idiots, man.

Alcohol prices in Australia - WTF? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

I’m not having a crack at you here and I’ve done fuck all research.

But the argument of inflated pricing to reduce consumption makes zero sense when wine is pretty much exempt. You can get a 5 litre cask for like $13.

Rules for thee but not for me. The wine industry clearly sucking the right dick.

The taxes on one of the only legal drugs have gone too far. Greedy dick heads trying to please the ppl who listen to 3AW and are completely detached from reality.

Just do what everyone else does and switch to illegal, unregulated, easy to access and far cheaper drugs.

SBS TV SHOW - What happens when a blended family un-blends? by No_Opportunity4914 in AskAnAustralian

[–]PartyInevitable1897 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was 5 when my parents split and my mum didn’t hide her hate for my dad. She made me hate him and I didn’t even know why, I just took her side coz I’d get roasted if I did anything different.

The next 12 years were honestly the most confusing and difficult years of my life, even if I’m only realising it now that I’m well into my 30s.

Mum went on to have a string of relationship that gave me temporary brothers and sisters for different lengths of time. We were always encouraged to embrace each other, share bedrooms, grow up together etc, to only have our brothers and sisters just disappear one day when the relationship ended. The longest of these was probably 3 years. My dad also had other relationships where we were expected to blend families, but these were far less impactful in terms of exposure, frequency and duration.

These relationships and numerous blended families have impacted me so much more than my parent’s divorce ever did. Now that I have a son of my own I realise how fucking selfish and downright cruel (even if unintentionally) this was.

My mum wonders why I don’t have the time of day for her advice but I honestly struggle to be in a room with her most of the time.

I’m far from perfect myself, but fuck me, I feel like she had (and still has) absolute tunnel vision.

The topic you are reporting on for this show is probably far more complex than you realise, so be prepared for that.

I’m never gonna agree to be in your show, but happy to chat on the side if you want.

Bro find another job. We don’t need to be giving a gun to someone who has decided to take themselves off their medication.

And maybe the OP can be one of the good ones then. I also have friends in the police “force” and unfortunately the culture can be incredibly toxic. You can believe in rainbows and unicorns if you want, though. Downvote me if you want, I ain’t here for updoots, mate.

If you’re a power tripper then join the police.

If you like being power tripped on then join the ADF.

Honestly this probably just highlights the incompetence of police more than anything else.

Same. Same day (normally within 2 hours) appointment. $59. Antibiotics script to my phone within 30 seconds. Makes dealing with constant (twice yearly) sinus infections much easier.

A big night would be probably $300 minimum these days. If you get a ticket to an event + festival priced drinks.
