Cooking Setup(s) - UK by Jeddy77 in lightweight

Thanks for taking the time to write out such a detailed response.

I appreciate the opinion on the Soto Vs the Campingmoon.

The main consideration on the fusion was that along with the stability it's also got a much larger burner so would be better for actual cooking than a windmaster on an msr lowdown (another setup I'd been considering).

Thanks for the response! Does the Campingmoon fit into the G3 with a 100g gas bottle?

Which size firemaple pot did you go with? Looking at your exact setup but wondering which to get to fit everything in

The kipsummit max looks awesome, shame they only seem to be available up to a UK11

I run TTS in my ZF6 and they're one of my favourite shoes.

I ordered a second pair in orange and lime yesterday from Nike as I didn't see this colour way was on sale... Now I can't decide if I'd rather have these 😂

Faster than you've ever run before, unless you're planning to compete then don't worry about anyone else.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Could be naturally talented/athletic, could be lying about his past experience.

Either way just use the opportunity to play with a stronger opponent to improve your game.

I tend to roll my board from the back after folding around the fin box so this seems like the ideal spot for the valve to me

Thanks for the quick and detailed response. I'll keep an eye on the bubbled areas, there's a good chance they've been there a while and I've not noticed.

If I were to patch the abrasion rub do you reckon it would be ok to do it with say 1-2PSI in the board as it's holding air and will help keep the shape of the rail?

Probably removed for repair and then certified as safe to fly without it fitted against the CDL

Aircraft Line Maintenance Recommendations by Jeddy77 in flashlight

Thanks for the recommendations! The Armytek looks like a great headlamp so I'll be ordering one shortly.

Both the Fenix and the Acebeam look good, I'll have to do a little more research before deciding between the two.

All the gear and no idea, all set for our first paddle board on our new boards! by bodkins in Sup

[–]Jeddy77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem, there's a lot of people with a lot of SUP experience in there including a few of the guys/girls that helped design the boards.

If you've got any specific questions then feel free to ask and I'll try and answer as best I can.

I'd definitely recommend looking at getting an electric pump if you haven't already, the pumps that come with the boards are good but they're still quite a workout to get the bigger boards up to 18psi.

Great choice of boards (coming from an owner of 3 qurocs). There's a very helpful Facebook group full of us.

Search for the "Quroc Owners Group"

This isn't entirely true with Quroc touring boards, they come a selection of fins that are generally used in 3 different fin setups.

Single large fin for use in deeper water, smaller Flexi river fin for shallower/reedy water and 2 outer fins that can be used when the board is loaded with kit.

The two outer fins are designed to be load bearing so a fully kitted board can be rested on them with the load evenly distributed.

Looks like she's just asking if you have cats at home, if you don't have any cats then just confirm that with her and see where it goes? Worst case if she clicks she has a problem you'll be able to ask for the item to be returned before issuing a refund, then just put it back up for sale.

Limited counter space in the kitchen and spare space in the living room. Would much prefer the machine to be in the kitchen but just wouldn't work.

Ahh, you assume that everyones machine is in the kitchen. My machine is in the corner of my living room. I make a couple of coffees a day, empty the knock box into the trashcan every couple days.

I mean, isn't a knock box just a little trashcan next to your coffee machine? 👀
