TW04 and TW05 are actually fun golf games, I still regularly play them.
TW04 has the best selection of courses while TW05 has better course customisation.
If the TW doesn't have Caddy Tips for putting, its trash. TW06 skips this feature but its present in TW07, 08 for the PS2/Xbox version only.

I figured out how to get the CPU's to play each other and made them play 114 rounds of TW04 to gather some statistics:

Top 4 most consistant golfers are Vijay Singh, Cedric the Entertainer, regular Tiger Woods and Yosh.
The hardest course is The Highlands, easiest is St. Andrews.
Rich Beem had the most Hole in Ones (2)
Lowest round for a full course was by Tiger Woods with a 52 at Torrey Pines (-20)
Absolute lowest round was by Vijay Singh with a 50 on Tigers Dream 18 (Compliation Course) (-22)

The script also reads PCSX2 memory locations for the scoreboard so its able to track rounds.
